Baking-Themed Card Tutorial with Cookie Die Cuts | Spellbinders Fluff, Frost & Roll
Hi folks, Kavya from @handmadebykavya here with a fun baking-themed card!

If you follow me on Instagram, you would know that I love finding ways to make my die cuts more fun. In this tutorial, I am going to share some of my go-to ideas to make some yummy cookies!
Step 1
Begin by die-cutting the baking and cookie elements from cardstock. We will be using elements from Fluff, Frost and Roll and Cool it Cookie Rack. For the cutlery, use Fog and Lavender for the handles. Die-cut the frosting cream pieces in Alabaster, Tutu, and Fog. For the cookie drying rack, use Fog cardstock, and cut the rolling pin from Tuscan. The cookies are die-cut from Fawn and Tutu cardstock. Finally, die-cut the word “hello” from Alabaster cardstock to match the frosting cream.
Step 2
Now, we are going to add some ‘rolled dough’ and a cut cookie on one corner of the card. To do this, draw a wave at a 45-degree angle and die-cut a cookie shape. I decided to go with a heart!

Step 3
To make the dough look realistic, ink blend the rolled dough and cookie using Tea Dye distress oxide ink.

Step 4
Splatter some pale brown paint to make the dough look a bit realistic

Step 5
Use a coordinating alcohol marker and add some dots along the edges to add some dimension

Step 6
For the frosting cream in the piping bag, cut a wave on the top.

Step 7
To add dimension to the frosted bits, ink blend the edges of the elements cut out of Tutu with Picked Raspberry distress oxide ink.

Step 8
Now for the card base, ink blend the edges of Seaside with Broken China distress oxide ink.

Step 9
Ink blend the rest of the elements with coordinating dye ink.

Step 10
Assemble the cookies by adhering the frosted bits to the cookie dough base using foam tape.

Step 11
Now, we are going to assemble the card! Start by adhering the rolled dough to the corner of the card.

Step 12
Adhere the cookie rack to the top left corner of the card at an angle. Snip the edges after adhering it.
Step 13
Place the rolling on the right side of the card

Step 14
Place the rest of the elements as shown below using foam tape.
Step 15
Using a white gel pen, add details to the elements

Step 16
And you are done!

That’s it! I hope you like this card! Can’t wait to see what you all make.
Happy Crafting,
Kavya
