This is a great collection of must have basics! I love the style and interest these dies add to the cards. They aren’t too feminine or fancy and would work for just about any style of card. My first card uses the largest Fluted Classics Slimline Rim and Insert pieces die cut from white cardstock. I die cut the largest Fluted Classics Oval Rim and Insert dies from a rainbow of colored cardstock and one…

Fluted Classics Collection – Card Inspiration with Annie Williams
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of projects using the new Fluted Classics Collection by Becca Feeken. The beautiful blanket stitch-inspired edging on all of the many shapes in this collection inspired me to create two cards perfect for sending a sweet hello. With the weather getting colder in my area lately, I thought the gorgeous edging detail on these dies was perfect as an accent on a warm and cozy card. Pairing it with a chunky cable-knit pattern and a cute deer, I created this simple and sweet card for a friend. Die cut Portobello…

Inspiration with Susan’s Tropical Getaway by Andrea Shell
Hello! It’s Andrea Shell with you, and I’m delighted to be back guest-designing on the Spellbinders blog. While I know that many of us are in the throes of holiday projects, I’m sharing two cards featuring Susan’s Tropical Getaway Dies. Think of this as a mini vacay! My first card uses the gorgeous Hibiscus Dies from the Tropical Getaway Collection. Don’t those flowers look so realistic?! That look is easy to achieve when you use Susan’s Specialty Cardstock and her Ultimate Took Kit and follow her methods for coloring and shaping the flowers (For tutorials visit the Spellbinders YouTube channel). I did that for both of my projects. To color…

Susan’s Tropical Getaway Collection – Card Inspiration with Annie Williams
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m thrilled to be back on the blog today to share a couple of projects using the new Tropical Getaway Collection by Susan Tierney-Cockburn. The gorgeous exotic flowers in this collection inspired me to create two bright floral cards featuring realistic blooms for different occasions. I loved the sprig of petite and pretty blooms in the Plumeria Die Set, so I decided to try these first. Although you can color these flowers in several bright colors, I opted for the white variety and added a pretty sunset background on this simple foiled anniversary card. Trim a piece of white cardstock to 4.75” x…

Hot Foiling the Be Bold Color Block Collection
Hello! My name is Jen Kotas and I’m so happy to be on the Spellbinders blog today. I’ve got two cards to share with you made using the new Be Bold Color Block Collection. What a fun collection with so many ways to use them creatively! I decided not to add any embellishments since there was so much shiny hot foil there already. If you don’t do hot foiling (though I highly recommend it), you could use stamps instead. For the Christmas card, you could foil the cardstock first and then die cut but I wasn’t sure what I was doing when I cut it ahead of time. Make sure…
