Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of projects using the June Embossing Folder of the Month Kit from Spellbinders. The simple and pretty pattern of the Botanical Diamond Embossing Folder makes it super versatile and perfect for all kinds of card projects. Faux Antique Tiles Look The beautiful patterns in the Botanical Diamond Embossing Folder reminded me of antique tiles, so I wanted to try to create a card inspired by that first. Here I used ink to create a distressed letterpress look to use as a background for this pretty spring hello card. Trim a…

Easy Pattern Cards
Hello! I’m Jen Kotas from Who Stole My Glitter and I’m happy to be here today to share three cards featuring the newest Simon Hurley release. I enjoy filling a card panel with stamped images and today I’m taking things up a notch by die-cutting the images and adhering them to an embossed panel. The texture under the images is such an unexpected and subtle surprise. For the first two cards a stamp positioning tool is necessary. The slimline cards I’m using measure 3 1/2” x 8 1/2” when folded. Emboss a piece of 3 1/4 x 8 1/2” white cardstock with the Mandala 3D Embossing Folder. Splatter with bronze…

Sweet Bird Ideas With Michelle Short and Just Wanted to Say Collection
Hello there, Michelle Short here to share some inspiration using the new Just Wanted to Say Collection. This a fantastic collection that is perfect for all occasions. As you will see from my projects, I fell in love with the sweet birds in the collection! They are so versatile and a lot of fun to put together – you can add all of the layers or not, and think of the different color combinations you can use! JUST WANTED TO SAY HI I started off by die-cutting Stitched Hi from Snowdrift Cardstock twice and adhered them together for stability. I stitched the flowers using blue thread from Color Essentials Cool…
