Felt Stitch & Create Collection with Larissa Heskett
Hello, Crafty Friends. Larissa is here today to share some Inspiration using the Felt Stitch & Create Collection by Nichol Spohr. SWOON! This Collection is amazing and I’m in love with all of the different images to choose from, especially the Candy Cane and the Gingerbread Boy & Girl. There are so many ways that you can use these sets to create cards and more. If you’ve never tried stitching dies and aren’t sure they’re for you that’s okay, they can also be used without Stitching. Let’s get started. I started by die-cutting the pieces for the Candy Cane using the Felt Candy Cane Etched Dies from some of the…

Colorful Holiday Stitching With The Stitched Bright Collection
Hello! Jen Kotas here today sharing three cards using the Stitched Bright Collection. The collection contains three stitching die sets for great holiday cards. You don’t need to stitch on your cards to use these dies. I hot-foiled the Stitched Starfilled Background Etched Die for two of my cards. It foiled great! Die cut the Stitched Starfilled Background Etched Die from light blue cardstock. Stitch panel using two strands each of four different floss colors. Adhere panel to an A2 card base with liquid glue. Create sentiments using Mistletoe Greetings Press Plate and Die Set and Teal Topaz BetterPress Ink. Cut out with coordinating die. Adhere sentiments with foam strips…

A Christmas Dance
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog today sharing three projects using the Dancin’ Christmas Friends Collection. This fabulous collection features characters that are made so that their legs move, or dance, which is super fun! A GIFT FOR YOU For my first card, I am using the Dancin’ Gnome Etched Dies. This die creates a gnome that is almost 6” tall, so I opted for a mini slimline card, to get the full effect of his dancing legs! To make this card: Die cut Dancin’ Gnome Etched Dies from Snowdrift, Bearly Peach, Teal Topaz, Waterfall, Poppy Field, and Silver Assortment…

Interactive Christmas Cards
Hello! Jen Kotas is here today with three cards featuring the Dancin’ Christmas Friends Collection. Interactive cards are so fun to make and dancing characters make it so easy! One of my cards features embossing with a press plate. To do this, follow the instructions for embossing an etched die found on the Platform Base of the Universal Plate System. Die cut the Dancin’ Moose Klondike, Dancin’ Gnome Alfie, and Dancin’ Douglas Etched Dies from various colors of cardstock and specialty papers. Assemble the die cuts using liquid glue but don’t adhere the legs to the body. Dry emboss a background for each character. I used Holiday Lights 3D Embossing…

Christmas Cardmaking using Contemporary Colours
Hello there crafters! Lisa Tilson here with you today on the Spellbinders blog. I’m excited to be here to show you some ideas using the Home For The Holidays Collection. For my three cards today, I thought it would be fun to use modern, contemporary colors for a super pretty Christmas vibe. I love traditional colors at Christmas, but it’s always good to shake it up a little and I usually end up with a fairly even mix of styles. The Home For The Holidays Collection is a big one and it is packed with super fun dies, gorgeous press plates, beautiful sentiments, and an embossing folder that actually could…

Non-Traditional Christmas in July
Hi everyone, Ilina Crouse here, and I am thrilled to be on the Spellbinders blog. My favorite season for crafting and cardmaking is Christmas and I am thrilled to be working with the Home for the Holidays collection in the middle of super-hot July. There are so many amazing products in the Home for the Holidays collection that I had such a hard time choosing. Once I made my decision for the product I picked a color scheme and decided to go with a non-traditional palette. For the main colors I chose pinks, aquas, pale grays, greens, and accents of gold, but added other colors as I saw fit. Poinsettia…

Red, White & Blue Christmas Cards Featuring Home for the Holidays
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog today sharing three cards using the Home for the Holidays Collection. This collection features lots of dies and press plates and I am using a few on my cards today. All my cards feature the color blue today. I did not plan for that when I was making them, but I do like blue for the holidays, especially when combined with white and red! NICK For my first card, I have combined St. Nick Etched Dies with the Sprinkled Confetti Press Plate to make a mini slimline card. To make this card: Die cut…
