When I saw the Big Cat Etched Die Set, I just knew it would make the perfect black cat and I thought it would be fun to give it a Halloween feel. I started with all of my die cutting from Spellbinders Cardstock – the cat pieces are cut from Onyx with the exception of the eye pieces that I cut from White and Fern, inside ears and nose from Barely Peach, tongue from Dahlia and…

Cats & Pugs Galore
Hello crafty friends! It’s Rachel Alvarado from RachelAlvaradoDesigns.com. I am happy to share some fun projects that I made using the new and super adorable Bibi’s Cats & Pugs Collection. I fell in love with this entire collection from the start and had so much fun playing with each set! My first project is a 9” x 4” slimline card that showcases five sweet little pugs that I created using the Party Puggles Etched Dies. To start my card, I first created my pugs by die-cutting all of my pieces from a variety of Spellbinders colored card stock. I then added some quick ink blending with a dome-shaped blending tool…

Incorporating Patterned Paper Into The Fair Winds Collection With Emily Leiphart
Hello, crafty friends! This is Emily Leiphart and I’m thrilled to be back on the Spellbinders blog, featuring the Fair Winds Collection by Dawn Woleslagle. This is such a fun coastal and nautical collection, perfect for summertime cards of all occasions. I wanted to create my cards with a non-traditional color palette and I was inspired by the colors from the Simple Stories Just Beachy 6×8” Paper Pad. Each card features the patterned paper in a different way — the border, a small selection of die cuts, and a centerpiece background. This first card features the Uncharted Waters Stencil, Guiding Light Dies, Set Sail Dies, and the Fair Winds Sentiments.…

I have three cards for you today each totally different from one another! Spotlight Iris My first card is using the stunning Layered Iris dies. These are simple to use and create the most beautiful and layered Irises.
