Spring Cardmaking with Rub-Ons | Spellbinders Spring Blessings & Little Leaps Cards
Hello, crafters!! Brenda Noelke here from My PaperCut Creations! I’m so excited to be a guest on the Spellbinders blog today!! I used the Spring Blessings and Little Leaps Rub-Ons to create three beautiful cards!! I haven’t used rub-ons since my scrapbooking days, but those were mainly sentiments and letters!! They’ve come so far!! HAPPY EASTER I began by die-cutting the third largest die in the A2 Matting Basics A Die Set from Alabaster cardstock. I applied the bunny and sentiment from the Spring Blessings Rub-On Pack with the included applicator. I wrapped twine around the panel and tied it into a bow on the left side. A panel of…

Creating Cards with Texture and Dimension
Hi there, crafty friends! I’m Rebecca Keppel, and I love finding easy ways to add texture and dimension to cards because those elements add loads of interest. Using the new Texture & Foliage Collection from Suzanne Hue makes it easy to add texture and dimension to foliage-focused cards. The Autumn Greetings Wreath Etched Dies has everything you need to create a fall wreath with branches, leaves, pumpkins, and gourds. To create a very textured background, emboss an A2 piece of Cinnamon Cardstock with the Dimpled 3D Embossing Folder. It’s a bit easier to adhere the bits and pieces of the wreath to a flat piece of cardstock so trim down a…

Step by Step Tutorial: Create a Birthday Card with a 3D Embossing Folder Background
Hello! Jen Kotas here today with a step by step photo tutorial creating a card with the Lemon Fresco 3D Embossing Folder. I walk you through embossing with a 3D embossing folder, die cutting elements to add to the card, and creating BetterPress sentiments. Mist Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock with water before embossing to prevent cardstock from cracking. Line up Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock in the section you wish to emboss of the Lemon Fresco 3D Embossing Folder. When using the Universal Plate System with a Spellbinders 3D embossing folder, use only the A and D plates. Cut panel to 4 x 5 ¼”. Add liquid glue, ensuring you get…

Clean and Simple Cards Using the Field Notes Collection
Hello! Jen Kotas here today with three cards featuring the Field Notes Collection. This collection includes three die sets, two BetterPress sets, a stamp set and a 3D embossing folder. I kept my cards clean and simple today. The embossing folder adds a lovely texture and design to the background allowing the die cuts and images to shine. I did not have the stamp set to use so I pulled out the Holding Your Heart Sentiments BetterPress Plates and Die Set to use instead. When I first used this set I made lots of extras. Perfect for times like this! Emboss a 4 x 5 1/4” panel of Alabaster ColorWheel…
