Birthday, Thank You & Graduation Cards Using Simon Hurley Sending Hugs Dies
Hello there, Michelle Short here, and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog sharing three cards using the Simon Hurley Sending Hugs collection. This wonderful collection is perfect for lots of different occasions, and what I love the most is that the die sets (bear, dog, and cat), are completely customizable. You can create multiple characters from just one die set! Whilst there are sentiment labels in the set for the characters to jump out from behind, I decided to use other sentiments for my cards today and have the characters jumping out of apertures instead. So fun! BIRTHDAY BEAR My first card uses Birthday Bear Etched…

Happier Hour Collection With Brenda Noelke
Hello, crafty friends!! Brenda Noelke here from My PaperCut Creations! I’m thrilled to be a guest on the Spellbinders blog today! I’m sharing three cards featuring the Happier Hour Collection with you today! We are traveling to Mexico in December, so the Sip Sip Ole’ Etched Die Set really spoke to me! HERE’S TO GOOD TIMES AND GREAT FRIENDS I began by die-cutting the element for my focal point using the Sip Sip Ole’ Die Set. For the outline of the glass, I used matte silver cardstock from the Treasured Antique Silver cardstock pack, and for the salt, I used the glitter cardstock from the same pack. The colors of…

How to Create Light Up Cards in an Easy Way
Hello there, Michelle Short here, and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog today, sharing two cards using the Pear Blossom Press One Light- 2 Pack. These lights make adding fun light-up elements to your cards easy. No circuits involved! The first thing to know when using these lights is that you do need to do a little forward planning for your card design. Since the light and switch are on the same piece, you need to work out where both will be placed on your card. MERRY + BRIGHT STAR I started off by die cutting the star (on my card panel) that I want lit…
