The embossed backgrounds create amazing elegant designs for so many different occasions. Two of the new folders are perfect for A2 sized cards (4 ¼” x 5 ½”) and two are perfect for 5” x 7” cards. Cut & Emboss Folders Inspiration | Handmade Cards & Tags with Bibi Cameron
Hello everyone! Bibi Cameron here, I hope you are doing well. Today I’m sharing projects using 3 new Cut Emboss folders. I also had the joy to try Fun Stampers Journey stamps, liquid colors and tools and I decided to use them for my projects today. I’m totally wowed with Fun Stampers Journey Gold Metallic ink and brayer. The rubber stamps are high quality and what I liked the most is that they made me feel that I still can live without my stamping platform. Ok, I was experimenting first with all these products and I made several Cut & Embossed brayered backgrounds. I applied FSJ liquid colors on the…

Cut & Emboss Folders Inspiration | Blessings Card with Ilina
Hello everyone. Ilina Crouse here today. I am honored to be guest designing for Spellbinders and showing you a project using the new Cut & Emboss Folders. If you are not familiar with these, they are amazing. They cut and emboss at the same time!!!! (hence their name). I was very intrigued when I saw them and had to play with them immediately. They give very nice and crisp embossed image and at the same time cut parts of it. It’s like a multitasking embossing folder. For my card today I used the Floret Cluster Cut and Emboss folder to emboss (and cut) piece of shimmer navy card stock. I…

Cut & Emboss Folders Inspiration | Even More Everyday Cards With Enza
Hello there, Spellbinders fans! This is Enza, and I’m back with my third and last blog post showcasing the Cut and Emboss Folders. You can find my previous posts here and here. My first card for today features the Diamond Lace Frame Cut and Emboss Folder. The delicate and intricate design of this folder is just beautiful – you don’t need much more than a sentiment to complete your card. Here I decided to step it up a little, and create lots of dimension with a few elements and foam adhesive. I started by embossing two 4”x5.25” panels of the same color. I then fussy cut only the central portion…

Hello, crafty friends! Enza back with you today to share the second of three blog posts featuring the new Cut and Emboss Folders. If you have missed the first post, you can find it here. The folders I’m showcasing today are the following: Blooming Sprigs, Dotted Lace, and Flora Banner. I created cards that are totally different from one another, as my goal was to showcase the versatility of these products through a variety of techniques. For the first card, I used the Blooming Sprigs Cut and Emboss Folder. I have to say I’m not a colorist by all means, but I thought I would give it a try, considering…
