Hello! Jen Kotas here today with a step by step photo tutorial creating the Felt Berry Blossom. I’ll share die cutting the felt pieces, stitching and finishing them. Cut a small piece of wool felt for each of the dies in the Felt Berry Blossom Etched dies. I found I got a better cut using the shim included in the Universal Plate System. Keep all your die cuts in a Craft Stax Medium Tray so you don’t lose anything! Pick floss, then separate three strands to use at the same time. Spring Plushies
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog using the Spring Felt Stitch & Create collection by Nichol Spohr. There is a bunny (and carrot) in this collection, as well as a hen, and if you love sewing and stitching, these are really fun to create! For these plushies, I like to stitch with 3 strands of floss. However, you can definitely just use two if you like. Whether you choose to coordinate floss and felt colors, or add a contrast, will affect the finished look.
