Jazz Up Your One Layer Cards!
Hello Everyone! Jenn Shurkus here and I’m wicked excited to be on the Spellbinders blog as a guest designer. Today I’m sharing some creative cards using this fun collection called House Mouse Summer Fun. I have been cardmaking for a long time, and House Mouse are some of the first wood-mounted stamps I owned. I just love that we can get them in red rubber cling form from Spellbinders now. Hopefully, these cards will give you some inspiration of some simple things you can do to jazz up your one-layer cards! BetterPress and Yasutomo Watercolors & Brushes
Hello crafty friends! It’s Jung here, and I am back with another guest post on the Spellbinders blog. For my projects today, I’m working with the Yasutomo Aquarelle watercolor pallet and Yasutomo Fusion brushes. I made a beautiful card, featuring the Let’s Celebrate BetterPress collection by Yana Smakula. After I gathered my supplies, I started out by adding a light wash of color to an A2 porcelain BetterPress cotton panel. I added 3 different pinks from the watercolor pallet to the Yasutomo porcelain flower dish and watered the colors down significantly. Then, I added a thin layer of water all over the cotton panel.
