3 Expert Monochrome Techniques featuring Letter Pressed Cards
Hi there my Spellbinders’ friends! My name is Jaycee Gaspar and I’m so excited to share three cards featuring the Simon Hurley Spring Sampler Collection. This collection features three new crafting must-haves and Simon’s existing sentiment hot foil plates. Did you know you can use your BetterPress Press Plates in your hot foil machine? I loved using these new products to make three cards with spring themes. BetterPress Press Plates can be used in the Glimmer Hot Foil System in place of hot foil plates. This is a great way to stretch your products for other mediums if you have both the BetterPress and the Glimmer Hot Foil System. This does…

The fun new colors and mixes give you so many more color scheme possibilities when adding wax seals to your projects and I was inspired to create two cards and a pretty embellished envelope. Birthday in Blues Card I loved the richness of the new Ink Wax Beads and thought it would be fun to create a monochromatic (mostly) birthday card with all of my favorite blue Spellbinders supplies. Melt Ink Wax Beads…

Mixing and Layering Wax Beads to Level Up Your Seals
Hey there! Daniel West, here, with some great tips on mixing and layering wax beads to take your seals to the next level. If we graded this tutorial for difficulty, I would say it ranks a 5 out of 10. I prefer this method of layering seals to coloring them with a marker because it makes for a very sharp and clear seal impression with contrast. It also is permanent and won’t wipe off with your finger. Later in January, I will have a YouTube tutorial on my channel. Instructions for layering waxes on seals: Warm your seal a bit over the flame of your votive candle or just let…

Simple and Sweet Love Cards with the House Mouse Winter Collection
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of sweet love cards made with the new House Mouse Winter Collection. With such detailed and adorable images in this collection, you can keep the other elements of your card pretty simple and still create eye-catching projects! I started by stamping the image and one of the sentiments from the Snuggle Up Stamp Set onto white cardstock using black alcohol-friendly ink. After coloring the image with Copic markers, I fussy-cut it out with scissors and trimmed the sentiment out into a strip. To create the background, I trimmed a piece…

Fall Birthday Cards with The Birds & Bees Garden Collection
Hey dear friends! It’s Angela Tombari here! I have a set of birthday cards to share with you today. I made them using the beautiful The Birds & Bees Garden collection. Spellbinders releases always gorgeous collections but, maybe because of the type of flowers, maybe because it’s fall-themed, I particularly enjoyed The Birds & Bees Garden one. The first card I would like to show you is created with the negative piece of Pom Pom Dahlia and Ladybugs die. This die set is supposed to create 3D Dahlia flowers and cut several nested flowers. I used the biggest metal die, which contains 8 flowers and I cut it twice on…
