Little Loves Inspiration | You Make Me Smile with Rubeena
Hi, crafty friends! This is Rubeena from A Rare Ruby, and I’m so excited to be a guest designer again on the Spellbinders Blog today. This post is part of a series featuring the Little Loves Collection by Sharyn Sowell! You can find my first post here and my second post here. For today’s card, I used Little Loves A2 Card Front die. It covers the entire card so you do not really need much else to work with. Video Friday | Me & Teddy Cards with Olga
Hello Spellbinders fans, thank you for dropping in! Today I am featuring my favorite die from Little Loves collection by Sharyn Sowell. I am so in love with the little scene that this die creates – I guess everyone can recognize themselves or their children in it! I have created 2 almost identical cards – just changed the color combination so that one would fit for a boy and another one for a girl. I removed the silhouette cut and watercolored the negative with Mijello Mission Gold Watercolors in…

Little Loves Inspiration | Silhouette Cards with Susie – Part 2
Hello! Susie here, and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders Blog sharing another series of silhouettes from the popular, Little Loves Collection of dies by Sharyn Sowell. This collection wraps its arms and heart around the early childhood years, and I’m delighted to share it with you. I wanted to create designs with a playful retro look so I chose patterned paper to achieve the effect and compliment the, Little Boys at Play die. If you remember from my last post I talked about using matching ephemera to add elements of interest. For this card I used one of the chipboard sentiments to introduce the little boys. …

Little Loves Inspiration | First Adventure with Rubeena
Let Rubeena from A Rare Ruby inspire you to create a beautiful baby boy card featuring First Adventure die from the Little Loves collection by Sharyn Sowell. Ruby says: "When I first saw this die, I pictured him in front of a blue sky. I started with my A2 cardbase and masked off a frame so I could blend in Distress Oxide ink in blue. I added some water splatters to give it a nice effect for my sky background."

Little Loves Inspiration | Silhouette Cards with Susie
Hi Everyone! I’m Susie Lessard and I am delighted to be a guest blogger here on the Spellbinders blog. Over the next few days, I will be sharing cards created using the beautiful silhouette dies from the Little Loves Collection by Sharyn Sowell. Charming and reminiscent of childhood, this collection of dies will allow you to create keepsake cards and projects that will last for years to come. My first card illustrates baby’s first adventure. Set in a garden we are reminded of the tender moments seen through baby’s eyes. Patterned paper and layering are a lovely way to frame a focal point. I assembled several dies to achieve that…
