Snowy Fun Cards Featuring the Let It Snow Collection
Hello, crafty friends! This is Emily Leiphart and I’m thrilled to be back on the Spellbinders blog, featuring the Let It Snow Collection by Simon Hurley. As soon as I saw those adorable penguins and pretty snowflakes, I couldn’t wait to create with these products. I went back to a favorite color palette of mine for these cards and I based it around the penguins but I also really love the contrast of the colors on the other two cards showcasing all the snowflakes. Can you guess which card I made first? Of course, it was the penguin card! I wouldn’t wait to dress up those penguins and I actually ended…

At first look, this collection may appear to be for scrapbooking enthusiasts but I’m here to show you how easily they can be used for card making. For those of you who use traveler’s notebooks for journalling and memory keeping will notice that this format is great for inserting into one of the traveler’s notebook pages. I decided to make not just three but four mini slimline cards to showcase one for each season to feature the Four Seasons dies. I had so many ideas in my head so…

Sentiments for All Seasons
Hello crafty friends! It’s Rachel Alvarado from RachelAlvaradoDesigns.com. I am thrilled to be back on the Spellbinders blog today sharing some new, gorgeous sentiment sets from the All Seasons Scrapbooking Collection. These sentiment sets will go perfectly with almost any other Spellbinders product that you own and can be used all year round. My first project is a 6.5” x 3.5” slimline card that showcases the new Four Seasons Etched Dies. I combined the “Autumn” die along with some previously released fall-themed die sets. For the large foliage, large pumpkin, acorn, and mushroom, I used the Autumn Wonder Etched Dies Set. I also added some tiny leaves and foliage from…

None of these contain new ideas, but I learned a few things along the way that I will share with you. I hope you enjoy the cards as much as I enjoyed making them. Non-Traditional Holiday Cards with the Stitched Bright Collection
Hello crafters! Joan Bardee here sharing some fun holiday cards made with the Stitched Bright collection. It’s a fun collection of dies – Stitched Holiday Tree, Stitched String Lights, and Stitched Starfilled Background. I didn’t embroider with these dies, but that’s the beauty of stitching dies – you can use them with or without embroidery thread. These cards are boldly non-traditional, both in style and color. That works for me, but if you want to tone them down, substitute softer colors. Scalloped Tree First up is the Stitched Tree set of dies, with the fun scallop border. Die cut just the backer dies for the tree in all 3 sizes…

A Christmas Dance
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog today sharing three projects using the Dancin’ Christmas Friends Collection. This fabulous collection features characters that are made so that their legs move, or dance, which is super fun! A GIFT FOR YOU For my first card, I am using the Dancin’ Gnome Etched Dies. This die creates a gnome that is almost 6” tall, so I opted for a mini slimline card, to get the full effect of his dancing legs! To make this card: Die cut Dancin’ Gnome Etched Dies from Snowdrift, Bearly Peach, Teal Topaz, Waterfall, Poppy Field, and Silver Assortment…
