Fun Ideas for Die Cutting With Patterned Paper Featuring Doodlebug
Hello, crafty friends! This is Emily Leiphart and I’m thrilled to be back on the Spellbinders blog, featuring Doodlebug’s Gingham-Linen Rainbow Petite Prints 12×12” Cardstock Paper. Spellbinders is now carrying the entire line of Doodlebug’s Rainbow Petite Prints and it was such a difficult choice because I love them all. Linen is always a must-have for me because it’s so subtle and I love that I can easily stamp on it. Gingham is another fun and versatile choice. After choosing the color palette for my cards and making sure that I had both the Doodlebug prints and coordinating solid cardstock, I went to work on my designs. Spellbinders has so…

Make Sentiments the Star!
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog using the Copperplate Everyday Sentiments collection by Paul Antonio. These beautiful sentiments really pack a punch and are perfect to be the focal point on a card! THANK YOU Whilst I did cover up some of the flourish in the ‘Y’ on this card, I really love the simplicity of this card design. I think it makes the sentiment the star of the show! To make this card: I placed the Copperplate Thank You Press Plate onto the chase of the BetterPress Letterpress System. I added a Porcelain BetterPress A2 Cotton Card Panel on the…

Spread Some Love With Florals!
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog using the Mirrored Arch collection. This beautiful collection is perfect for sending love to friends and family. AMAZING FRIEND For my first card, I wanted to show how you can create a card with minimal supplies. I used just one plate set, plus one die set (although not necessary). To make this card: I placed the Mirrored Arch Blooms Press Plate (not including the sentiment) onto the chase of the BetterPress Letterpress System. I added a Porcelain BetterPress A2 Cotton Card Panel on the platen and held it in place with Best Ever Craft…

As you will see from my projects, I fell in love with the sweet birds in the collection! They are so versatile and a lot of fun to put together – you can add all of the layers or not, and think of the different color combinations you can use! JUST WANTED TO SAY HI I started off by die-cutting Stitched Hi from Snowdrift Cardstock twice and adhered them together for stability. I stitched the flowers using blue thread from Color Essentials Cool…

3D Embossing Folder Collection – Card Inspiration with Annie Williams
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m thrilled to be back on the blog today to share a couple of projects using the new 3D Embossing Folder Collection from Spellbinders. The gorgeous three-dimensional designs in this collection inspired me to create three soft and pretty cards for a variety of occasions. Tufted 3D The elegant Tufted 3D Embossing Folder caught my eye first. Here I added a couple of dainty flowers to a fun custom sentiment for this pretty card for a friend. Trim a piece of purple shimmer cardstock to 4” x 5.25” and emboss it using the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder. Mat the embossed panel with Mirror…
