Die D-Lites Inspiration | For You Floral Card with Laurie
Hello Spellbinders fans! This is Laurie Schmidlin back with my second guest post for this month. You can see my first Die D-Lites post here. One of the die sets that immediately caught my eye is the Sketched Blooms die set. I love these flowers, and as it is still snowing where I live they definitely add some sunshine inside my studio! I started by creating the background for my card. I die cut enough of the Sketched Blooms dies out of black cardstock to completely cover the background layer. Video Friday | Inlay Sketched Blooms with Nichol
Hello everyone. This is Nichol Spohr and I’m thrilled to be back with another guest designer card for Spellbinders this month. I love the look of inlay die cuts and the brand new Die D-Lites Sketched Blooms and Sketched Blooms 2 are fantastic dies to use with this technique. I started my design by stamping a text background stamp on Bristol smooth cardstock with Versamark Ink, heat embossing with white embossing powder and then inking over the text with Distress Oxide Inks in Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, and Twisted Citron. I buffed the ink off the embossing and trimmed the background panel to 5 1/4” x 4”. I die cut…
