Hello die cutting fans, thank you for joining me on Spellbinders blog! Today I am going to showcase 2 projects featuring Swirl Background and Curvy Labels die sets from Romancing the Swirl collection designed by Becca Feeken. Both cards are the same design but are a bit different in structure. The project #1 is a multi-layered framed card decorated with a large flower made with Blooming Rose die set. Video Friday | Inked Terrarium Hello Card with Nichol
Hello everyone. This is Nichol Spohr and I’m thrilled to be here today with this die cut terrarium and greenery card. Adding detail to die cuts with ink is one of the easiest ways to immediately add depth and dimension to the images. Popping some of the images up with foam adhesive and layering additional greenery behind the terrarium give this card added interest. The background of the card was created by die cutting and embossing frames from dark gray cardstock using the Fancy Edges Rectangles. Wings of Love Inspiration | Simple Cards with Elena
Hello everybody! This is Elena Salo, I’m back and want to share with you another project where I used dies from the new collection On The Wings Of Love. I played with Borders set of dies and created some intricate and funny backgrounds for the cards. First, I made A2 top folding card base and covered the front panel with double sided adhesive. Then I die cut the same die several times using another shade of purple paper every time I adhered the light purple frames onto the card base and after that I combined all details of different colors together.
