Chantilly Paper Lace Inspiration | Elegant Floral Cards with Melissa. Part 3
Hi! Melissa Phillips here with you again today, sharing a couple of extra Chantilly Paper Lace cards! Catch my previous posts sharing inspiration with this collection here and here. With February and Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I wanted to create some handmade love notes using my Spellbinders supplies. I love red and pink together for this fun time of year and normally, when I sit down to create Valentine’s card, they are somewhat casual and playful. The Coraline’s Chemise Layering Large Frame Die is the perfect way to dress up a Valentine card and take it to the next level. The details of the Coraline’s Chemise Die are…

Chantilly Paper Lace Inspiration | Elegant Floral Cards with Melissa
Hi everyone! I’m Melissa Phillips and am so happy to be a guest blogger here on the Spellbinders blog. Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing projects with you created using the gorgeous Chantilly Paper Lace collection dies. They are all so beautiful and have quickly become my most favorite dies! My first card uses the Lunette Arched Borders, which are so versatile and unique. I love that you can create delicate, detailed frames around your sentiment or focal point using these particular dies. I used these dies along with solid berry colored cardstock and framed in a sentiment that was stamped on a Vintage Pierced Banner die.…

However I always find it challenging to create masculine cards. So I keep on practicing making them. I played with D-Lites Bottles Dies this time and made the cards I’m sharing today. I started by making a background from kraft paper with gold dots. I dry embossed my paper Bottles dies in my Platinum 6” machine using the embossing sandwich. I also die-cut some of the bottles from background paper as I wanted to foam mount a…
