Chantilly Paper Lace Inspiration | Elegant Floral Cards with Melissa
Hi everyone! I’m Melissa Phillips and am so happy to be a guest blogger here on the Spellbinders blog. Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing projects with you created using the gorgeous Chantilly Paper Lace collection dies. They are all so beautiful and have quickly become my most favorite dies! My first card uses the Lunette Arched Borders, which are so versatile and unique. I love that you can create delicate, detailed frames around your sentiment or focal point using these particular dies. Spring Flowers, April Showers
If you’re like me, I’m finding myself thankful to be putting away the Christmas Paper while reaching for something that harkens spring. I’m Becca Feeken with Amazing Paper Grace and spring is on my mind. Indeed, Spring Flowers, April Showers! A touch of vintage paper, lace and flowers was enough to get me dreaming of flower gardens beginning to bloom. For my card today I started with a 5 1/2″ x 7 – 1/2 base out of cream – this is my favorite size of card. I assemble the base from one 8-1/2″ x 11″ sheet of cardstock cut in half at 5 -1/2″. On one of the panels I score and…

Floral Birthday Cards with Elena
Hello everyone. It’s Elena’s turn to share a couple of new projects this Sunday. The last 2 months I have been so very busy with Christmas cardmaking projects, I felt I needed to switch to something non Christmas, just to take a break from Winter, so I decided to create something that I like most of all – Floral cards. It seems that I am waiting for the Spring, though I haven’t had a chance to enjoy the Winter. However I felt that I miss the flowers, the birds singing and the best way to approach it is to start creating something that you miss. For my cards I focused on Chantilly…

Hello, everyone! This is Yana Smakula and thank you for joining me! This blog post and video continues the monthly feature I’m hosting on Spellbinders blog and Youtube channel called “Shaped Cards with Spellbinders”. Once a month I am posting a card and and video tutorial featuring a shaped card base using Spellbinders dies! You can catch the first episode from this series HERE. I started working on this card by creating a card base. I decided to use the largest die from the Bella Rose Lattice Layering Frame Large set – this die measures 5×7” inches so it makes a full size 5×7” card. There are several ways to…

Card Front Dies Make a Lovely Gift Box and Card Ensemble
One of my favorite things to do when I first get to play with a card front die is to make it into a box and card ensemble. Voila, everything matches! I’ve done this many times over the years and to my delight, it was quite easy to make a top, box and card for a gift ensemble set out of a new card front die from my Chantilly Paper Lace Collection. Hi there, I’m Becca Feeken with Amazing Paper Grace and today I’m so tickled to be using new dies from my Chantilly Paper Lace Collection. I’m going to get you thinking outside of the box here on the blog today and when…
