Susan’s Tropical Getaway Collection – Card Inspiration with Annie Williams
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m thrilled to be back on the blog today to share a couple of projects using the new Tropical Getaway Collection by Susan Tierney-Cockburn. The gorgeous exotic flowers in this collection inspired me to create two bright floral cards featuring realistic blooms for different occasions. I loved the sprig of petite and pretty blooms in the Plumeria Die Set, so I decided to try these first. Although you can color these flowers in several bright colors, I opted for the white variety and added a pretty sunset background on this simple foiled anniversary card. Trim a piece of white cardstock to 4.75” x…

Birdhouses Through The Seasons Collection – Card Inspiration with Annie Williams
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back today to share a couple of projects using the new Birdhouses Through The Seasons Collection by Vicky Papaioannou. This collection really spoke to me as a nature-lover, so I wanted to use as many of the seasonal sets as I could together. Since the birdhouses are large enough to fill a card front, I was inspired to create three fun cards in different sizes for a variety of occasions. I thought the tall birdhouse from the Build A Fall Birdhouse die set would be perfect for a slimline card, but I’m not quite ready to start my fall…

After working with several of the die sets to build a variety of flowers, leaves, and foliage, I arranged them into three bright bunches to create these autumn cards. This first card is the simplest of the three and perfect if you are new to paper flower crafting. Using the Woodland Garden Leaves die set, I created a pile of leaves in bright colors…

Stamp Camp Collection by Jane Davenport – Clean & Simple Character Cards with Annie Williams
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m so excited to have the opportunity to share a couple of projects using the new Stamp Camp Collection by Jane Davenport. Many of the striking images in this collection are reminiscent of fashion sketches and this inspired me to create two clean and simple cards that focus on the strong characters that Jane so beautifully illustrated. I couldn’t wait to color the delicate mermaid image from the Glorious Mermaid stamp set and thought she deserved a deep sea to swim around in. This clean and simple slimline card gives her plenty of space to roam, while keeping the focus on her. Cut…
