Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m thrilled to be back on the blog today to share a couple of cards made with the new Every Occasion Floral Alphabet Collection from Spellbinders. The gorgeous floral letters and matching sentiments in this collection make such a statement on their own, I decided to play with different color schemes to create interesting backgrounds on these three fun cards for various occasions. Ombré Sending Love Card One of my very favorite types of cards to mail out are “sending love” cards, so I was excited to see the beautiful Floral S and Sentiment Press Plate. Pink might seem like an obvious choice…

Autumn Woods Shaker Card If you’re new to interactive cards, shaker cards are a good place to start because they’re relatively easy to put together and the recipient can usually figure out how to work them. Here I created a shaker that looks like the hole of…

Sealed For Christmas Card Making Inspiration with Leica Palma
Hello there, my crafty friends! Leica here, excited to share three card ideas using the Sealed For Christmas collection. Two have that cozy Christmas feel, while the other one is perfect for celebrating someone’s birthday. You can totally use this collection for other special occasions, too! Let’s talk about the first card. I had so much fun with the Sealed Christmas Sprigs Etched Dies. The poinsettia and cabbage rose shapes are just lovely. I used colorful paper from Spellbinders – Dahlia, Fern, Peridot, Pink Sand, and Rainforest. The shiny part at the middle of the flowers is made from gold foam sheets, and they twinkle so nicely. The card panel…

Shaped Christmas Cards Made Easy!
Hey there, crafty friends! It’s Leica here, and today I want to share three unique Christmas card ideas with you. These cards are different from the usual rectangular shape. Spellbinders has a great variety of shape dies, and the largest die from any set works perfectly as a card panel. Plus, they fit nicely inside an A2-sized envelope! For all three cards, I used the largest dies from each set. I cut the bigger shape out of colored cardstock and the smaller one out of white cardstock. To add some texture, I ran all the white panels through a die-cut machine using the Vintage Ornaments 3D Embossing Folder. As for…

The soft floral patterns, gorgeous die-cut elements, and fun embellishments in this collection inspired me to create three pretty springtime cards for different occasions. Floral Thank You Card The sweet bird patterned paper in the Floral Friendship paper pad caught my eye first, so I grabbed some golden die-cut flowers and mixed them with a bit of texture for this soft and pretty thank you card. I started by trimming a piece of patterned paper from the Floral Friendship Paper…

Trio of Floral Reflection Collection Cards with Jung AhSang
Hello crafty friends! It’s Jung here, and I am so happy to be returning for another guest post on the Spellbinders blog. For my projects today, I’m working with some products from the Floral Reflection collection. I love all the florals in the collection, and especially the heart dies! For my first card, I started with the Floral Reflection dies, along with the Essential Floral Reflection die. First, I die-cut all the dies in the Floral Reflection die set on white cardstock for the flower pieces, and craft cardstock for the larger foliage piece. I die-cut everything twice since you need 2 of the floral pieces to cover the shaped…

Floral Reflection Collection Easel Cards with Jen Kotas
Hello! I’m Jen Kotas from whostolemyglitter.com and I’m happy to be here today to share three Floral Reflection Collection easel cards. Easel cards are simple to make and the size of the dies and glimmer plate meant not much else would be needed. To create the easel card base, cut a piece of cardstock 4 ¼” x 11”. Score at 2 ¾” and again at 5” then fold on score lines. Cut the 4 ¼” x 5 ½” embossed cardstock in half at 2 ¾”. Adhere the pieces above and below the 2 ¾” score line on the card base. Anything you wish to pop up when open can only…

Wax Seal Collection on Handmade Cards with Jung AhSang
Hello crafty friends! It’s Jung here, and I am back with another guest post on the Spellbinders blog. For my projects today, I’m working with some products from the new Wax Seal collection. This was such a fun collection to work with! There are a couple methods to work with the wax seals. You can pour the wax, and seal them directly on your project. You can also make the wax seals on the silicone mat that comes with the wax seal kit, and then adhere them to your project. I am a bit of a perfectionist, so I made my wax seals on the silicone mat. That way, I…
