Hello! It’s Amy Tsuruta with two projects that use the sweet new Felt Stitch & Create Collection by Nichol Spohr. The newest collection includes two die sets that are perfect for plushies, home decor, cards and so much more! They are a wonderful addition to the Nichol Spohr collection. Shaped Scene Cards Using The On The Farm Collection
Hello! Jen Kotas here today with three cards featuring the On The Farm Collection. There are five different very detailed animal die sets that include sentiment stamps perfect for that animal. Die cut the largest shape die twice to create the card base. Score at about 1/4” from top and adhere together above the score line only. I used Make a Wish Arch Labels, Emerald Cut Labels and Tag and Perfect Touch Arches Etched Dies. To create the embossed background, cut the same card shape from blue, white and green cardstock. I used the second largest that I used for the card bases. Next die cut the grass from the…

Adding Depth and Dimension to Your Projects
Hello, crafty friends! I’m Adrienne Boese, better known as Alice Scraps Wonderland online. Today I’m sharing two scrapbook layout ideas and one card idea using the Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe collection that showcases some different ways to add depth and dimension to your projects. These two layouts and card make use of more feminine color palettes, but if you want an idea with a more masculine color palette using this same collection, be sure to head over to my blog where I’ve got one more layout for you! Beautiful Butterfly Layout For this layout, I added dimension with chipboard and foam stickers, but also by fussy cutting out part of…

Shaking It Up using Shaker Domes & Pretty Mixes!
Hello there Spellbinders friends! It’s Lisa Tilson here with you today on the Spellbinders blog. I’m so excited to be here as a guest and I am sharing three shaker cards using the fabulous Shaker Domes. I love to make shakers, so these cards were really fun to create and the Shaker Domes make it very easy to make them. There are five different-shaped domes in this collection; Arch, Stylish Oval, Emerald Cut, Fresh Picked and Hexi-Gem. They work with the coordinating die sets, so everything is super easy to put together! The dome itself is approx. 0.38” high so you have plenty of room to add different-sized shaker mixes…

Dimensional Flowers with Clean and Simple Backgrounds
Winter’s Grace Garden Collection by Susan Tierney-Cockburn. In addition to her usual dimensional flowers, there’s also a beautiful 3D embossing folder that’s worthy of its own card. To learn how to assemble these flowers, watch Susan’s videos on Spellbinders YouTube channel. The background embossed with the Norwegian Rosemaling 3D Embossing Folder was cut to 4 x 5 1/4” and adhered to a second panel cut from the largest Perfect Touch Rectangles and Tag Etched Dies. These flowers are the Cymbidium Orchid and Ladybugs Etched Dies cut from Susan’s Garden Specialty Cardstock and colored with alcohol markers. I added a sentiment from All Seasons Spring Press Plate and Die Set. This…

Christmas Cardmaking using Contemporary Colours
Hello there crafters! Lisa Tilson here with you today on the Spellbinders blog. I’m excited to be here to show you some ideas using the Home For The Holidays Collection. For my three cards today, I thought it would be fun to use modern, contemporary colors for a super pretty Christmas vibe. I love traditional colors at Christmas, but it’s always good to shake it up a little and I usually end up with a fairly even mix of styles. Red, White & Blue Christmas Cards Featuring Home for the Holidays
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog today sharing three cards using the Home for the Holidays Collection. This collection features lots of dies and press plates and I am using a few on my cards today. All my cards feature the color blue today. I did not plan for that when I was making them, but I do like blue for the holidays, especially when combined with white and red! NICK For my first card, I have combined St. Nick Etched Dies with the Sprinkled Confetti Press Plate to make a mini slimline card. To make this card: Die cut…
