The newest collection includes two die sets that are perfect for plushies, home decor, cards and so much more! They are a wonderful addition to the Nichol Spohr collection. A Trio of Birthdays
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog today sharing three cards using the Florals Through the Year Collection. This collection is designed to be used to create a DIY calendar but as you will see from my projects, you can use the floral plates on their own for cards (and anything else!) too! SNOWDROPS For my first card, I used the beautiful January Snowdrops. Since snowdrops are winter flowers, I wanted to give a slight winter feel to the card with a little snowfall! To make this card: Place January Snowdrop Press Plate onto the Chase of the BetterPress Letterpress System.…

Colorful Tunnel Scapes Projects
Hello crafty friends! It’s Rachel Alvarado from RachelAlvaradoDesigns.com. I am thrilled to be able to share with you a few projects that I made using products from the new Tunnel Scapes Collection by Vicky Papaioannou. This collection is absolutely gorgeous and is perfect for all year round. My first project is a 3D shadow box card that features both the Underwater Tunnel Etched Dies and the Underwater Marine Life Etched Dies. All my images were die cut and the only stamping that I did was the sentiment on the top left corner of my box card. When folded, my card measures at 5 ¾” x 5 ½” and can fit…

Hello there crafters! Lisa Tilson is here with you today on the Spellbinders blog and as always, I am excited to be here! Die Cutting Dioramas With Tunnel Scapes
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog using the Tunnel Scapes collection. This is such a fun collection that focuses on creating scenes with dimension, kind of like mini dioramas but more on the 2D side, rather than the 3D side. These cards can get pretty dimensional if adding foam tape in between all the tunnel layers, but they would still look great without the foam tape, or with less layers if you didn’t want them to be so bulky. I used thin foam tape for mine so that I still got the dimension but with slightly less bulk. UNDERWATER TURTLE…

Introducing the “Tunnel Scapes” Collection by Vicky Papaioannou
Hi, it’s Vicky here and I am so excited to introduce to you my new Spellbinders collection “Tunnel Scapes”. The collection includes 6 dies and a stamp set that can be combined or used separately. It was inspired by my love for dimension and layering. The basic idea is that you get 3 different ways to your tunnels! So tunnels that look like clouds, underwater or slices and then depending on the set you use you can decorate your tunnels in various ways. For a detailed introduction and inspiration, watch the full video below: Tunnel Clouds Die Set The Tunnel Clouds die set includes three cloud tunnel dies that can…

Step Up Your Crafting With Embossing Folders
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog using the Sealed 3D Botanical collection. This beautiful collection features 3D cut & emboss folders, labels and tags dies, plus wax seal stamps. My projects today focus on embossing folder techniques. TECHNIQUE 1 – INK BLENDING For my first card, I wanted to show simple ink blending with embossing folders. This can be done before embossing or afterwards and they both give slightly different looks. For this card, I added the ink blending first. This meant that I could not take advantage of the cut & emboss feature of these folders, but it still…
