Hello, crafty friends! This is Emily Leiphart and I’m thrilled to be back on the Spellbinders blog, featuring the Sealed 3D Christmas Collection. I love gift wrap and the products in this new collection make it so easy to dress up a sweet little surprise at parties and for visitors who pop in during the holiday season. I absolutely adore the Ribbon Box so I decided to make an ombré set of boxes which will be perfect for candy or even some baked goods. During the holidays, I love baking cookies and sharing them with assorted chocolates so these boxes are the perfect way to surprise and delight friends and…

I used all but one of the products in this collection for everyday occasions but there are plenty of drink accessories that are perfect for Halloween and Christmas cards so definitely go check them out! I went with a bright and happy color palette for my cards. Each one has a different balance of each colour and I love how much these products inspired me. I was…

This beautiful collection is like the name suggests, perfect for essentials! There are frames/layers, tags, backgrounds plus lots more! MERRY & BRIGHT For my first card, I wanted to show how you can utilise little die cuts on a card but for them to still be the focus. These trees are pretty small but absolutely adorable! To make this card: Cut two trees from Nested Tree Frame Etched Dies using Waterfall & Teal Topaz Cut another tree from Pink Sand and Fruit Punch Cut snow pieces three…

This wonderful collection features lots of dies that are perfect for winter, Christmas and the holidays. My three projects all feature snowflakes used in different ways. MERRY CHRISTMAS PENGUIN For my first card, I am using the beautiful Frozen Flurries die (which can be used in so many different ways!) as well as Playful Penguins. Crafty Lessons Learned with the Happy Hour Collection
Hello crafters! Joan Bardee here. The fantastic Happy Hour Collection consists of 2 cocktail glasses and other unique items to use with or without the glasses. It’s clever and my favorite of everything Spellbinders has released so far this year. Today I’m sharing a brayered background, an explosion of color blocking, and a cheeky Halloween card. None of these contain new ideas, but I learned a few things along the way that I will share with you. I hope you enjoy the cards as much as I enjoyed making them. CHRISTMAS COCKTAIL WITH A BRAYERED BACKGROUND A holiday card with a martini glass and a brayered background are both out…

Non-Traditional Holiday Cards with the Stitched Bright Collection
Hello crafters! Joan Bardee here sharing some fun holiday cards made with the Stitched Bright collection. It’s a fun collection of dies – Stitched Holiday Tree, Stitched String Lights, and Stitched Starfilled Background. I didn’t embroider with these dies, but that’s the beauty of stitching dies – you can use them with or without embroidery thread. These cards are boldly non-traditional, both in style and color. That works for me, but if you want to tone them down, substitute softer colors. Scalloped Tree First up is the Stitched Tree set of dies, with the fun scallop border. Die cut just the backer dies for the tree in all 3 sizes…

A Christmas Dance
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog today sharing three projects using the Dancin’ Christmas Friends Collection. This fabulous collection features characters that are made so that their legs move, or dance, which is super fun! A GIFT FOR YOU For my first card, I am using the Dancin’ Gnome Etched Dies. This die creates a gnome that is almost 6” tall, so I opted for a mini slimline card, to get the full effect of his dancing legs! To make this card: Die cut Dancin’ Gnome Etched Dies from Snowdrift, Bearly Peach, Teal Topaz, Waterfall, Poppy Field, and Silver Assortment…

Can Poppies Be Blue?
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog today sharing three projects using Yana’s Poppies Collection. This beautiful collection features a poppy die, as well as a poppy background press plate (with or without a coordinating stencil). Poppies are generally red in color, maybe yellow or orange, but blue is quite rare. I did, however, base mine off the Himalayan blue poppy, which I think is absolutely beautiful! HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISHES For my first card, I am using the Poppy Background Press Plate. This is such a stunning background! You can color the poppies with lots of different coloring mediums or use…
