Video Friday | Create a Stencil using Die Cuts with Kelly Latevola
Hello Crafters! Today we are trying something a little different with our die cuts. The Lovely Lilac die comes with two dies an outline layer and an intricate flower. I used some left over packaging and the outline die to create my own stencil. I found that placing a piece of cardstock under the die in addition to the plastic packaging gave me the best cut. I used repositionable adhesive on the back of my stencil to hold it in place while I added some color with my distress inks. Once I was done I removed the stencil and started in with my copic markers. I added a drop shadow…

Wings of Love Inspiration | Simple Cards with Elena
Hello everybody! This is Elena Salo, I’m back and want to share with you another project where I used dies from the new collection On The Wings Of Love. I played with Borders set of dies and created some intricate and funny backgrounds for the cards. First, I made A2 top folding card base and covered the front panel with double sided adhesive. Then I die cut the same die several times using another shade of purple paper every time I adhered the light purple frames onto the card base and after that I combined all details of different colors together. I die cut “Thank You” sentiment from Phrase Set…

Wings of Love Inspiration | Celebrate Card with Joni
Hello Everyone, this is Joni Andaya from Papell With Love and thank you again for joining me on my 3rd post highlighting the products from On the Wings of Love Collection by Joanne Fink. For this post I used one of the border dies to create a background for the card. To begin I first die-cut white cardstock with Hearts and Butterflies Borders die. Then, I also die-cut “celebrate” using Words dies on a copper cardstock. For the Background card base I then distressed the bottom with PapertreyInk in Melon Berry and splattered it with Gansai Tambi Gem Colors. Next, I adhered the pieces together with the butterfly border on…

Video Friday | Swirl Frame Cards with Olga
Hi, it’s Olga, today I am super excited to share 2 cards that I have created using Swirl Frame die from the latest On the Wings of Love collection by Joanne Fink. This die is perfect for creating framed cards and it can be both landscape or portrait oriented: The first card I’ve made is portrait oriented. I created a shaped frame card base first and then added an embossed insert. For the focal image I have used a tulip die that is also a part of the Swirl Frame set. The die cuts are colored with Distress Inks and the gold foiled sentiment is attached right on top of…

Wings of Love Inspiration | Black & White Cards with Elena
Hello crafty friends! First, I’d like to thank you for joining me today. It’s Elena from elenasalo.com. This is my second post with projects I made using dies from the On the Wings of Love Collection, catch my first post here. For today’s cards I’ve chosen a die from Love Dream Create set. It reminds me of fairytale cityscape where elves and fairies live. And on my card I tried to show how this city would look like at night in moon light. Instructions: If you liked this idea, you can make the same card, just follow the instructions: Die-cut a label out of black cardstock using die from Love…

Hello Everyone, this is Joni Andaya from Papell With Love and thank you for joining me on my 2nd post highlighting the products from On the Wings of Love Collection by Joanne Fink. To begin I first die-cut the pale pink cardstock with Swirl Heart die and die-cut the white cardstock to layer on top of the pink die-cut. Next, I die-cut the gold cardstock using Alphabet dies. Then, I added some shading on the gold die-cut using Copic Marker in RV42 for added interest on the die-cut. To finish off…

Wings of Love Inspiration | Love Cards with Elena
Hello dear readers! Elena Salo is here again! I’ve got a chance to play with a new collection of the dies, which was created by Joanne Fink. It is On the Wings of Love. It contains a lot of frequently used sentiments like “Thanks”, “Love “, “Create” and many others which, I think, can add beauty to every card. I also liked the gorgeous alphabet. As for all abstract images, which are in the set, actually it was quite a challenge for me to use them in my projects since I always tried to avoid such items in my cards because I didn’t know how to use them properly. And…
