Feminine Monochromatic Cards
Hello! Jen Kotas is here today with three cards featuring the Gorgeous You Collection. This collection includes four dies sets, press plate sentiments and a 3D embossing folder. This collection made me want to make mostly monochromatic cards. They were perfect to pair with the new ColorWheel Cardstock. I went through the new ColorWheel Cardstock and picked three or four shades of pink, teal, and purple. I used less than one sheet for these three cards plus I made several other cards. This beautiful collection features 3D cut & emboss folders, labels and tags dies, plus wax seal stamps. My projects today focus on embossing folder techniques. TECHNIQUE 1 – INK BLENDING For my first card, I wanted to show simple ink blending with embossing folders. This can be done before embossing or afterwards and they both give slightly different looks.
