December Card Kit of the Month is Here | More Inspiration
Are you excited about our December Card Kit of the Month? We hope you are! And to help you jump start your creativity we have a guest designer Elena Salo sharing several projects made using our December kit. Don’t miss our post introducing December kit.
Hi everyone! My name is Elena Salo and I’m so happy to be here today. Let me introduce myself. I’m 30+ years old, happily married mom to a wonderful little boy. My passion is to create handmade cards, mostly using dies and various die cutting techniques. But I love stamping and coloring as well.
So, today I’d like to share 5 projects with you using December Card Kit of the Month. Let`s start with non-traditional Christmas cards. I’ve created three of them. Two are of the same style. I picked a Christmas sentiment from my stash for these cards, but you can use any other sentiment you like and easily turn these into Winter or everyday cards.
Here I’ve used beautiful purple paper from the kit, two snowflakes dies and brads, which I added to the center of my snowflakes.
To create these snowflakes, I die cut two pieces: one out of black paper and another one out of purple foam sheet (foam is from my stash). I glued them together and covered the black paper with Wink of Stella glitter pen to add lots of shimmer to my snowflakes.
Here is the third Christmas Card I made using my December Card Kit of the Month. This one is a shaker! It’s very easy to create shakers using dies.
I used dies from the kit to create these Christmas shaker ornaments (the “shaking” are from my stash) and stunning blue paper, which was also is included in this month kit.
I also added some die cut snowflakes to fill in the background and added black dot details to each.
And the last two projects are a set – a card and a gift box:
To create the background, I die-cut decorational elements out of light purple cardstock and placed them on the card base. For the gift box I prepared gold elements, combined them with purple and offset them a little bit.
I also added flowers and embellishments onto my projects ( these all came from my card kit).
Thank you so much for joining me! Hope to see you soon! Bye!
Now it’s your time to create! Grab your December Card Kit Of The Month from our store and share what you make with us using the #SpellbindersClubKits on social media.

Unfortunately, due to a manufacturing issue, the December Small Die of the Month and Large Die of the Month club products will not be available as scheduled. This issue did not affect the card making kits. We are very sorry for the inconvenience, Sheri!

I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure out why I haven’t received my large and small die of the month for Dec. I’ve sent a message; to no avail, although it is the holidays.
Finally, I see a comment from Janice about this issue…has this been resolved?
You would think we would get a notification about the availability. Makes me want to cancel!

Love the designs and the inspiration! I save the images for when I have time to attack the kit and for last month’s club kit I managed to get ELEVEN cards done using up every little bit in the kit. So happy! Thanks!

Love to see people who are not afraid to craft “out of the box” and not just use the traditional red and green. Love the blues and purples! Have yet to do a shaker card but will have to try it when I have more time. I am usually the one in the group to try different things. Doing the twist and pops for some of my Christmas cards.
