Emboss Like A Boss and Add Pretty Floral Accents
Hello there, Lisa Tilson here with you today on the Spellbinders blog. I’m so excited to share three ideas using the Beveled Sentiments A2 Cardfronts Collection. There are four 3D embossing folders in this release – Happy Birthday, Thanks, Hello, and A Gift For You. I really like the crisp, clean, and modern style of these folders. As the sentiments are big and bold, they take centre stage and look great even with just some simple ink blending but I went a slightly different way with my cards today. From Me To You My first card uses the Beveled Hello A2 Cardfront 3D Embossing Folder and I decorated it with…

Let’s Create Some Pretty Packaging!
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog using the Sealed 3D Christmas Collection. This beautiful collection features two press plates, a box die, 3 wax seal stamps and lots of beautiful wax beads! I thought for my blog post today that I would focus on creating pretty packaging. I love gift-giving and making things look pretty, so for today, I have some boxes, tags, and envelopes to share with you. RED & GOLD CHRISTMAS For my first project, I created a box using the new Ribbon Box Etched Dies. Not only is this box beautiful, but it is also really easy…

This wonderful collection features lots of dies that are perfect for winter, Christmas and the holidays. My three projects all feature snowflakes used in different ways. MERRY CHRISTMAS PENGUIN For my first card, I am using the beautiful Frozen Flurries die (which can be used in so many different ways!) as well as Playful Penguins. If you’d like to get to know me better, visit my blog or follow me on Instagram. Additionally, I have a YouTube channel where I regularly post video tutorials. Winter I embossed the white cardstock using the Hexi Snowflake embossing folder of July 24. Then, I used the Emerald Cut Labels and Tag Die to die-cut Sage-colored cardstock to create the frame. After that,…

Crafty Lessons Learned with the Happy Hour Collection
Hello crafters! Joan Bardee here. The fantastic Happy Hour Collection consists of 2 cocktail glasses and other unique items to use with or without the glasses. It’s clever and my favorite of everything Spellbinders has released so far this year. Today I’m sharing a brayered background, an explosion of color blocking, and a cheeky Halloween card. None of these contain new ideas, but I learned a few things along the way that I will share with you. I hope you enjoy the cards as much as I enjoyed making them. CHRISTMAS COCKTAIL WITH A BRAYERED BACKGROUND A holiday card with a martini glass and a brayered background are both out…

This fabulous collection features characters that are made so that their legs move, or dance, which is super fun! A GIFT FOR YOU For my first card, I am using the Dancin’ Gnome Etched Dies. This die creates a gnome that is almost 6” tall, so I opted for a mini slimline card, to get the full effect of his dancing legs! To make this card: Die cut Dancin’ Gnome Etched Dies from Snowdrift, Bearly Peach, Teal Topaz, Waterfall, Poppy Field, and Silver Assortment…

I did not plan for that when I was making them, but I do like blue for the holidays, especially when combined with white and red!
