This is the latest collection from Susan Tierney-Cockburn and it includes five new floral etched die sets, along with a couple of embossing folders and a background die. Festive Ways To Package Your Cards
Hello everyone! I’m Mindy Eggen from Mindy Eggen Design and I’m excited to be back on the Spellbinders blog to share with you three different ways you can package your cards with clear bags/boxes. Clear boxes are so fun and versatile because you can either let the cards be the decor or decorate them yourself. With the assortment of products from Spellbinders, the possibilities are endless and can be used not just during the holiday season but for any occasion! The first project I want to shed light on is using the card as the decor. I have a stenciled card using the Layered Merry Christmas Foliage Bundle. Not only…

Packaging Ideas With Clear Boxes You Need To Try!
Hello there! This is Lisa from My Card Trip and I am excited to be a guest again on the Spellbinders blog. Today I am sharing a few ideas for gift wrapping clear acetate boxes using beautiful papers and ribbons and also my own decorations. The Crystal Clear boxes I am using today come in a pack of 25. They are so simple to put together as all you need to do is open the box up and tuck the flaps in. The acetate is scratch resistant and the tabs fold very easily. Not only that but the boxes have been made with a material that won’t brittle or crack…

Today I share with you three Christmas cards I created featuring the new beautiful Simon’s Snow Globes Collection! This collection is truly amazing and perfect for creating a lot of Christmas cards! HOLLY JOLLY The first card I realized is featuring the super fun Simon’s Snow Globe and Snowman Scene Etched Dies! I started die-cutting the snow globe. More Betterpress Christmas Inspiration
Hey friends! I’m Mindy Eggen and I’m so excited to be on the Spellbinders blog today to share inspiration using the More BetterPress Christmas Collection. I have been looking forward to working with this collection and creating some stunning cards quickly and easily. One of my favorite things to do when working with BetterPress plates is creating backgrounds. I personally like to create the background first and then add the BetterPress design which is what I did for two of the three cards that I’m sharing today. The first way that I wanted to add color was by watercoloring a nighttime sky for the Seasons Greetings Evergreens. After the panel…

Crafting with Vivant Ribbons, Cords and Twines
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of cards made with some of the beautiful new ribbons, cords, and twines from Vivant available in the Spellbinders shop. I chose my favorite ribbon techniques and paired them with some gorgeous Spellbinders products to create these three easy cards with tons of texture and a little something extra. Floral Wax Seal Card With all of the beautiful wax seal products released recently, it would be hard to craft with ribbons and not consider using this technique first. Here I paired a floral bouquet and wax seal with a couple…

Cardmaking with BetterPress – Autumn Card Inspiration
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m thrilled to be back on the blog today to share a couple of projects using the BetterPress Fall and Halloween Collections from Spellbinders. The beautiful autumn designs and fun Halloween icons and backgrounds in these collections inspired me to create three colorful cards with an elegant letterpress effect. Autumn Floral Corner Card I loved the collage of images in the Autumn Floral Corner Press Plate Set, so this was the first design I picked up. With some bright autumn colors, I could easily bring a basic black press of this gorgeous image to life. I started by adding black BetterPress Ink to…

Coloring With Olo Markers on X-press It Blending Card
Hi everyone! This is Jennifer Rustioni from @armieritagli! Today I share with you a step-by-step tutorial of the card I realized featuring the wonderful Olo Markers! These alcohol markers are truly fantastic and have very bright colors! I’m in love with them! I chose to use the Olo Markers to create a Christmas card. I realized a coloring different from my usual, using an embossing folder instead of a stamp. When using brand new colors (every type of color) for the first time, I always recommend you to create a color chart. This is really important because the real colors are often very different from the colors on the packaging.…

Snow Garden Inspiration
Hello, crafty friends!! Brenda Noelke here from My PaperCut Creations! I’m thrilled to be guest posting on the Spellbinders blog again today! I’m sharing three cards using the Snow Garden Collection designed by Susan Tierney-Cockburn!! I’m always a fan of Susan’s collections and this one is no exception! SEASON’S GREETINGS For my first card, I foiled the Winter Bought Hot Foil Plate onto smooth white cardstock with opaque black foil, then colored it with Copic markers. The panel was die-cut with the second largest die in the A2 Matting Basics A Die Set and adhered to a panel of red cardstock that was cut using the largest die in the…
