How to Use a 3D Embossing Folder: Magical Fuchsia Card Tutorial
Hello there, Michelle Short here to share a step-by-step tutorial with you using the Magical Fuchsia 3D Embossing Folder from the Magical Fuchsia collection by Alex Syberia. The embossing folder coordinates with the press plate and stencil set, but for today’s card, I wanted to show that it can be used on its own, too. EMBOSSING THE IMAGE Cut Violet ColorWheel Cardstock into a 4.25” x 5.5” panel. Using the Mighty Mister Spray Bottle, mist water onto both sides of the panel. TIP: Misting the cardstock with water helps to soften the fibres of the cardstock and helps to prevent cracking. Place inside Magical Fuchsia 3D Embossing Folder. Run through…

I’m here to share a step-by-step tutorial using the In Bloom Egg Etched Dies from the Simon Hurley Happy Spring Collection. I am going to be doing one of my favourite techniques – die cut inlay. This is one of the first die-cutting techniques I was taught back when I started cardmaking many moons ago! It is still a favourite and often a go-to technique. It’s like doing a mini jigsaw, and I find it very therapeutic. Due to the nature of die cutting from several colours of cardstock, like…

Holiday Cards with Annie Williams Country Christmas
Joan Bardee here sharing Christmas in July with the Country Christmas Collection by the talented Annie Williams. This collection will warm your heart. It includes a barn, country star, rocking chair, snowman, horse-drawn carriage, and other elements that capture the nostalgia of a simpler time.
