Step by Step Tutorial: How To Create the Felt Berry Blossom
Hello! Jen Kotas here today with a step by step photo tutorial creating the Felt Berry Blossom. I’ll share die cutting the felt pieces, stitching and finishing them. Cut a small piece of wool felt for each of the dies in the Felt Berry Blossom Etched dies. I found I got a better cut using the shim included in the Universal Plate System. Keep all your die cuts in a Craft Stax Medium Tray so you don’t lose anything! Pick floss, then separate three strands to use at the same time. Separating the strands individually gives a fuller look and lays better. Place inner piece between the front and back…

Honey and Fruit: One Stitch at a Time
Hey Crafty Friends, it’s Amy Tsuruta, and I’m thrilled to be back on the Spellbinders blog featuring the gorgeous Summer Felt Stitch & Create Collection by Nichol Spohr. I’m a huge fan of Nichol’s collection and always thoroughly enjoy them! My first project is the Felt Berry Blossom. The Felt Berry Blossom is absolutely adorable. I cut the pieces from the 100% Merino Wool Poppy, Mossy, and Glacier from the Holiday Collection. The frame is from the Emerald Cut Label. The sentiment is from the Altenew – Blossoming Apple Press Plate. The button is from my stash. Next up is another card that features the Felt Cheeky Apple Etched Dies.…

Spring Plushies
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog using the Spring Felt Stitch & Create collection by Nichol Spohr. There is a bunny (and carrot) in this collection, as well as a hen, and if you love sewing and stitching, these are really fun to create! For these plushies, I like to stitch with 3 strands of floss. However, you can definitely just use two if you like. Whether you choose to coordinate floss and felt colors, or add a contrast, will affect the finished look. I usually use coordinating colors, but contrast is fun too! COZY CLUCK My first plushie uses…

Hello, Crafty Friends. Larissa is here today to share some Inspiration using the Felt Stitch & Create Collection by Nichol Spohr. SWOON! This Collection is amazing and I’m in love with all of the different images to choose from, especially the Candy Cane and the Gingerbread Boy & Girl. There are so many ways that you can use these sets to create cards and more. If you’ve never tried stitching dies and aren’t sure they’re for you that’s okay, they can also be used without Stitching. Let’s get started. I started by die-cutting the pieces for the Candy Cane using the Felt Candy Cane Etched Dies from some of the…
