Four Petal Wonderful Tulips Foiling & Stenciling Step-by-Step
Hello there, Michelle Short here to share a step-by-step tutorial with you using the Wonderful Tulips Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set combined with the Wonderful Tulips Layered Stencils from the Four Petal Collection. STEP 1 Start off by cutting Champagne Glimmer Foil to size using Quick Trimmer. I like to have a bit of wiggle room around the foil plates but don’t want too much that can lead to over-foiling. Keep any little bits you cut off; they are perfect for sentiments! STEP 2 Take the Wonderful Tulips Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and prepare to foil onto white cardstock. I like to hold foiling plates down with Best…

A Christmas card with simple stitching and then an everyday card with the stitching stepped up a little. The great thing about the Layered Stitched Diamonds Dies is that you can mix and match different components to have lots of stitching or less stitching, for different looks. There is also a stitched rectangle die that can cut the whole panel out. MERRY CHRISTMAS STITCHING For my first card, I took the base layer of Layered Stitched Diamonds, as well as the rectangle die,…

Holiday Floral Swag 3 Ways – Christmas Inspiration With Michelle Short
Hello there, Michelle Short here to share some inspiration using the Christmas Collection. My post today focuses on using Holiday Floral Swag in three different ways. WHITE-ON-WHITE ORNAMENT For my first project, I wanted to go with a simple white-on-white card. I love the look of white on white and the embossing really enhances it! I started off by running a panel of white cardstock through my Platinum 6 inside the Holiday Floral Swag 3D Embossing Folder. It was then adhered to the front of an A2 white card base. For my focal point, I die-cut the Nordic Ornament from white and gold glitter cardstock (for the topper) and adhered…

The whole collection is amazing, but I am focusing on the Nordic Ornaments today to share three different ways to use them. SEASON’S GREETINGS For my first project, I wanted to go with a Nordic feel, so I chose a color palette of red and blue, with lots of white space. I assembled and adhered them using Bearly Art Glue,…

Stitchmas Christmas Inspiration with Michelle Short
Hello there, Michelle Short here to share some inspiration using the new Stitchmas Christmas Collection. If you love stitching, this is the perfect collection for you! Not keen on stitching? Do take a closer look at the collection, the dies still look great without stitching. Having said that, I do enjoy stitching, so all my projects use stitching today. STITCHED JOY CARD I started off my card by die-cutting Stitched Joy from Snowdrift Cardstock twice. I removed the piercing holes with the Tool ‘n One and then the pieces adhered together with Bearly Art Glue for added stability. Using red, green, and gold thread/floss, I stitched the pattern. The ‘joy’…
