Elegant Christmas Cards using the Season of Wonder Collection
Hello! Jen Kotas is here today with three cards featuring the Stampendous Season of Wonder Collection. This beautiful collection includes two die sets and two stamp sets. This is the perfect opportunity to create a shaped card and make an elegant wreath card. I enjoy creating ink-blended backgrounds but if I’m creating one or two why not create a few extras for other card ideas. I made two Halloween card backgrounds at the same time as these three backgrounds using some of the same inks. Ink blend a piece of white cardstock with light and dark teal colors then splatter with similar metallic ink and white acrylic paint. Set aside…

Hi everyone! So happy to welcome you to a new post here on the Spellbinders blog. I’m Pam Sparks, cardmaker, blogger and instagram creator. Today I’m sharing three cards I made with the new Simon Hurley Christmas Collection. My first card uses images from the Sketched Santas and Sketched Christmas stamp and die sets. I had fun stamping and coloring on kraft color cardstock with color pencils. I kept it pretty simple…inking, some die cutting and layering for A2 size cards. My second card I had the idea to go ‘postal’ and make a faux postcard design using the Sketched Snowmen stamp and die sets. I stamped and heat-embossed two…

Dyan Reaveley Collection
Hello Spellbinders friends! It’s Allison Frazier, and I am so excited to be sharing these fun projects that I made using the new Dyan Reaveley Collection. As soon as I saw these products, I was instantly reminded of my art journaling days. I actually spent time art journaling before I discovered cardmaking, so being able to combine the two like I did with these projects was so much fun. Because I started art journaling before becoming a cardmaker, I still have a bunch of those supplies in my stash, including many from Dyan’s Dylusions collection. So that is where I started for all of my projects today. All of the…

Rainbow Confetti Congrats Card The Stampendous Streamers Stamp was just begging to inked up in rainbow colors, so I created a colorful background with just three ink pads for this simple and bright congrats card. Beautiful Backgrounds Cards with Joy
Hello crafty friends, I love a good background stamp! I’m going to show you three cards using three different background stamps from the Stampendous Beautiful Backgrounds. I used three different techniques with these awesome stamps. For my first card, I used the Leafy Lines background stamp, it has a pull-away piece that I used for this card design. On a piece of watercolor paper I hot-foiled the background with the Diagonal Glimmer Stripes (discontinued) and Aura foil. I stamped the corners with the Leafy Lines pull-away stamp piece. I colored the leaves with multiple colors using Karin Watercolor Markers. I added a few splatters with the Karin Markers and added…

Hi, it’s Marie here from the blog and YouTube channel, Marie Nicole Designs. I’m excited to be sharing three cards I created using stamps from the new Simon Hurley Christmas Collection. These cards are fairly simple to create, and they will be perfect to send out in this upcoming holiday season. I made two cards with a glimmered background I added with a Simon Hurley Glimmer plate I have. I think the pattern looks like snowflakes so it fit well with the snowmen! The last card I made is simply using the stamped image along with a sentiment and some ink-blended colors. Let’s take a look! SIMPLY SNOWMEN I started…

Silly Goose Birthday Party
Hello crafty friends! It’s Rachel Alvarado from RachelAlvaradoDesigns.com. I have a few cards to share with you showcasing some fun and beautiful new stamp sets illustrated by Simon Hurley. For my first card, I created a slimline card measuring at 3.5” x 8.5” featuring the Silly Goose Stamp Set. I made my card one-layer by masking my images as I stamped. In order to do this, I first created a rough draft of where I wanted to place my images and then used my MISTI to align my images on my final draft as I stamped. I started with the images that appeared in the front of my card first,…
