Today I share with you three cards I created featuring the new wonderful Spellbinders Glimmering Flowers Collection! MISTLETOE KISS The first card I realized is featuring the lovely Spellbinders Glimmering Buttercups Hot Foil Plate. I used the Spellbinders Champagne Glimmer Hot Foil Roll to foil the flowers on a creamy-colored cardstock. I colored the flowers and the leaves blending some Distress Ink using the coordinate Stencil Set. Fun Ideas for Die Cutting With Patterned Paper Featuring Doodlebug
Hello, crafty friends! This is Emily Leiphart and I’m thrilled to be back on the Spellbinders blog, featuring Doodlebug’s Gingham-Linen Rainbow Petite Prints 12×12” Cardstock Paper. Spellbinders is now carrying the entire line of Doodlebug’s Rainbow Petite Prints and it was such a difficult choice because I love them all. Linen is always a must-have for me because it’s so subtle and I love that I can easily stamp on it. Gingham is another fun and versatile choice. Fun Ways to Use Patterned Paper in Your Cardmaking Projects
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of easy and fun ways to use patterned paper in your cardmaking projects. Patterned papers can be a little intimidating to some due to busy patterns or bright colors, but I hope these techniques can help to show how easily they can add texture and color to an otherwise plain card. Pretty Floral Hello Card I love buffalo plaid, but it can be a very bold look and draw too much attention away from your focal point sometimes. Getting More Mileage from Modeling Pastes with Add-ins
Hey there, Spellbinders artists and enthusiasts! Daniel West here, with some inspiration and a few tips for stenciling with TCW Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste and White Modeling Paste. Sometimes we see a simple product in basic white and wonder what we can do with it. But these pastes work like a blank canvas you can use as is or add in colors and glitter for different effects. The Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste boasts a wicked short drying time and a true-to-its-name texture. This paste lays down quickly and without fuss. When I stenciled it onto my projects, I noticed it didn’t seep in under the stencils because of…
