Open House Collection Inspiration with Sheri Holt
Hello! It’s Sheri here again from My Sheri Cards and I am so happy to be sharing 3 different versions I created using the Open House Door and add-on dies in the Open House Collection. All of these cards measure 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” but they are great on any size card. I usually work with patterned papers on my cards but I kept it simple this time.
White Door Card
Although the Open House Door Base die can be used all on its own, the add-on dies are must-haves! This card features the Open House Door Base in white in addition to the Open House Door Side Panels.
The door was decorated with the green vines and flowers included in the Open House Door Base set. The lines were scored every ¼” for texture in the background.
Spellbinders Supplies:
Turquoise Door Card
This card features a turquoise Open House Door Base decorated with a flower wreath using parts from the topiary from the Open House Topiary set and steps from Open House Sentiment Steps.
The background was embossed with Fun Stampers Journey Love Stripes Embossing Folder I had for quite some time.
Spellbinders Supplies:
Yellow Door Card
This pink little house card with pale yellow Open House Door Base is my favorite! I have a discontinued brick pattern embossing folder from Spellbinders and couldn’t wait to pull it out and use it for this one!
Because this card is only A2, I could only fit 1 topiary from the Open House Topiary set. I decided to offset the door and added a tiny window above the topiary by altering the arched window from the door and cut off the arch.

Have a wonderful day!

Sheri, what a fantastic job using these dies from the Open House Collection. Wonderful color choices for the doors – reminds me of Rainbow row in Charleston SC! Love the fact you used textured background; not adds dimensions but looks like wall to a house. Kudos for such attractive cards!
