Christmas Card, Tag and Decoration with Joy Baldwin
Hi crafty friends, my name is Joy Baldwin (aka Create It With Joy). If you want to check out more of my creations, head over to my blog. I’m excited to share a pretty Christmas trio with you today using Susan’s Holiday Flora.
I decided to make a little collection of projects that you could use together. So I made a Christmas Card, Tag and Decoration for a wrapped gift.
For the card, I used the Lantern and gave it an aged look. I added “rust” by mixing Crackling Campfire Re-Inker to Distress Texture Paste Crackle and added that to my inked Lantern in a few spots. I then lightly inked over the texture paste after it dried with Salvaged Patina. I made beautiful pink and white Poinsettia with Copic Colored leaves and adhered that to a woodgrain cardstock.
The tag is cut from Scarlet cardstock and I added the gorgeous pine cone and leaves. I wanted it to have snow, so I used an Emboss It Pen and Textured White Embossing Powder to achieve that look. I White heat embossed the sentiment and added some string to the tag.
Now I created the Wreath to add to a wrapped gift for decor. I die cut the Wreath twice from two colors of brown cardstock. I then Copic Colored the Mistle Toe and Winter Berry leaves for the wreath and used Nuvo Crystal Drops for the berries. You could also add string to this and use it like a tag.
