Cool Fransformers Inspiration

Hello crafty friends! This is Jennifer Rustioni from @armieritagli! Today I share with you three Christmas cards I created featuring the new super cute and fun Stampendous Cool Fransformers Stamps Collection! These critters are the cutest, aren’t they??

CHRISTMAS MAGIC

Cool Fransformers Inspiration

The first card I realized is featuring the Stampendous Fransformers Snowy Friends Stamp Set. I stamped the snowman on a watercolor paper, using the Distress Oxide Pumice Stone, to have a delicate effect. I realized the background using the Sakura Koi Watercolors in the shades of blue with the wet-on-dry technique, to have a more intense effect.

After that, I continued to watercolor the snowman and then I used colored pencils to have more depth on it. I realized the details and the snowflakes with a white gel pen. At last, I chose a sentiment from the Dancin’ Holiday Sentiments Stamp Set and stamped it at the bottom of my card.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

For my second project, I chose to use the super cute Stampendous Fransformers Snowy Penguins Stamp Set. This time I realized a CAS card. I stamped the penguin on the Neenah Desert Storm Card Stock with the Memento Desert Sand Ink Pad, to have no-line effect. I colored it with Copic Markers and then, I colored the white part of the penguin with a white pastel pencil.

I used a white gel pen to realize the highlight and the fur of the hat. At this point, I white-hot foiled a sentiment from the Spellbinders A Merry Little Christmas Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set. I die-cut it with the coordinate dies and then glued at the bottom of my card. At last, I matted my card with a red card stock.

SEASON’S TWEETING

The last card I created features the Stampendous Fransformers Snow Birds Stamp Set. I stamped the bird and the branch on watercolor paper with the Distress Oxide Pumice Stone. Then, I colored the sky using again the Sakura Koi Watercolors, this time with the wet-on-wet technique, to have a softer effect.

I colored the bird and the branch with the Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils, to give it more contrast. I blended the colors with an oil medium and a blending stump. At last, I realized the snowflakes and the fur of the hat with a white gel pen and stamped the sentiment.
