Making Fun Scene Cards For any Occasion
Hello crafty friends! Vic here with you today and I am sharing some sweet cards from the Windows with a View by Tina Smith Collection. I absolutely adore this beautiful collection and you can have hours of fun die-cutting! There are so many dies in this wonderful collection you will be spoiled for choice! I love the fact that you can also create so many different scenes too for all your cards and projects.
This collection is available on February 10th, 2024.
I have created three different cards today using the Windows with a View by Tina Smith.
For my first card I used the Vista View Window Etched Dies along with The Botanical Solarium Etched Dies and the Up in the Air Etched Dies. I also made a card blank using the Essential Arches Etched Dies. My greeting was stamped using the Sending Sunshine Sentiments Clear Stamp Set. I used the largest die from the Essential Arches Etched Dies for my card base. I then die-cut the window using the Vista View Window Etched Dies. I added some soft ink colors to the background of the window I used light blue ink and light pink ink. I added some clouds too from the Up in the Air Etched Dies. I then wanted to add some pretty flowers so I die cut some flowers and a watering can from The Botanical Solarium Etched Dies and added these to the bottom of the window, I then stamped my sentiment using the Sending Sunshine Sentiments Clear Stamp Set.
For my second card, I created a sweet scene card using the Backyard Haven View Etched Dies, Up in the Air Etched Dies, Sending Sunshine Sentiments Clear Stamp Set, and the Background Scapes Stencils.
I started by making the background for my card. I added some light blue, light pink, green, and light yellow ink to my card using the Background Scapes Stencils. This is such a fun stencil and there are lots of ways to create different types of scenes with this stencil. I then die-cut some clouds and sun using the Up in the Air Etched Dies. I added this to my background before die-cutting my other elements using the Backyard Haven View Etched Dies. To finish this card off I heat embossed a sentiment using the Sending Sunshine Sentiments Clear Stamp Set.
For my last project, I made a fun shaker card! I used the Coastal escape View Etched Dies which are just adorable! I also used the A-2 Matting Basics B Card Creator Etched Dies, for my card base and card panel. I die-cut my card panel using some white card and added some leaves that were also die cut in white card. Using the Coastal escape View Etched Dies I made my circle shaker panel and I added in some seaweed, starfish, and a shell to my scene. I filled this up with sequins and popped this onto my card. To finish off the card I stamped a sweet sentiment using the Sending Sunshine Sentiments Clear Stamp Set.
