Wedding Season Inspiration | Cardmaking Ideas with Jenny
Hi there all you beautiful crafty people, it’s Jenny from JCCards here! I’m excited to be guesting here on the Spellbinders blog, sharing three card projects I created using the wonderful Wedding Season Collection by Nichol Spohr. This collection was so much fun to play with – the sky really is the limit for color coordinating with any forthcoming wedding theme, and it can easily be tailored for other occasions as well such as birthdays or anniversaries! I spent so much time choosing colors for my cards – running through my cardstock stash and seeing which colors paired well together, and also looking at weddings on Pinterest for inspiration. It…
Kaleidoscope Patterns with Jean Manis
Hello crafty friends! I’m Jean, a papercrafter blogging at Right as Rain. I am thrilled to be on the blog today sharing two cards created with the Shapeabilities Kaleidoscope Tile Dies. I am a big fan of trying different designs with the same die set. On the cards I’m showing today, I’ve varied how the tiles are placed, as well as the cardstock colors and card sizes. Let’s take a look! On my first card, I have arranged four tiles in a square on a card measuring 5” x 5”. The Kaleidoscope Tile Dies set contains three dies with which to build the layers – bottom, middle, and top. I…
Die D-Lites Inspiration | Elephant Festival Cards with Jean Manis
Hello! I’m Jean Manis, a papercrafter blogging at Right as Rain. I am delighted to be on the blog today sharing projects created with supplies from the November Die D-Lites release. On all three cards, the focal point is the Elephant Festival set. One of my favorite things to do as a designer is to explore the different ways in which the same image can be portrayed. On the cards I’m showing today, I’ve varied the color schemes and added elements from other sets in the November Die D-Lites release; I’ve also introduced gold on two of the cards and added texture with a dry-embossed background on one. On the…

Video: Just Add Color Inspiration | Pencil Coloring on Kraft with Debby Hughes
Hi, Debby here from Lime Doodle Design and I’m delighted to be here at Spellbinders today. In my video below I’m using the beautiful new Peonies Blossoms set from Stephanie Low and one of my most favourite ways to colour – pencils on kraft. The Peonies Blossoms set has four lovely floral clusters set on a red rubber, cling mount system which means you are going to get that beautiful fine line detail from the red rubber for these delicate blooms. I paired the stamp set with the Strathmore Toned Gray paper. I love the cooler grey tone of the paper, and its smooth surface makes stamping and colouring a…
Video Friday | Pop-Up Card with Frame Dies with Olga
Hello crafty friends and thank you for joining me on Spellbinders blog! Today I am going to create a pop up card with some ornate frame dies from Special Moments collection by Marisa Job. The dimensional pop-up circle card is created with Miss You Swirl die set and I have “love you” written on the one side and “miss you” on the other. There is also some additional space at the horizontal part of the card to write or stamp the message to the recipient. Although…
