Boo Dance Party Halloween Cards with Ilda Dias

Hello friends, it’s Ilda Dias here with you all today and I am excited to be back on the blog with some Halloween Cards featuring the cutest little trick or treaters from the Boo Dance Party Collection. If you love Halloween I hope these three faBOOlous cards inspire you!

Dancin’ Trick or Treaters Halloween Slimline Card

  • Cut paper to 8×3.5 inches using white cardstock for the background panel.
  • Ink blend the background. Inks from bottom to top – Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink, Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink, Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink, and Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink.
  • Die-cut all the pieces for Dancin’ Ghost, Dancin’ Mummy, and the Haunted House. Assemble using liquid Glue.
  • Glue elements in place. To make the legs swing, I glued a small flat button behind each body and then slid it on the legs. To keep them in place I used a small scrap piece of paper cut larger than the button. To allow the legs to move freely, I added foam tape behind the Dancin’ Ghost and Dancin’ Mummy bodies.
  • Stamp out the sentiments from the Boo Dance Party Sentiments using black ink.
  • Add white gel pen details to elements and add some stars to the eerie night sky.
  • Embellish candy with gem stickers.
  • Glue panel onto black slimline card base for a finished card measuring 8.5×4 inches.

  • Stamp the sentiment from the Boo Dance Party Sentiments onto the moon using black ink.
  • Use foam tape for popping up the house onto the glimmer foiled background. Glue other elements to the card panel to create the scene.
Trim the panel and add to an A2 size white card base.

Hey Boo Dancin’ Ghost Card

  • To create the background I dry embossed a white piece of cardstock using an embossing mat with the Hypnotic Background Glimmer Foil Plate.
  • Ink blend Halloween-themed colors to the embossed background.
  • Die-cut all the pieces for Dancin’ Ghost and the bats from the Haunted House. Assemble using liquid Glue.
  • To create the swinging legs, again I glued a small flat button behind the ghost’s body and then slid on the legs. Secured the legs in place with a small scrap piece of paper cut larger than the button. Glue the dancing ghost onto the panel, and use foam tape to elevate the body to allow the legs to swing freely.
