3D Vignette Twin Lens Camera with Marie Heiderscheit
Hello, crafty friends! Marie here from Marie Nicole Designs. I am excited to share today’s projects with you! This new 3D Vingette Twin Lens Camera die set creates the cutest little vintage camera that is also a mini album! How adorable! I also made an easel card with the die set, so not only can you use it for photos but you can also make cards with this set.
MAKE A MINI ALBUM
For my first camera album with this set, I went with some light blue, kraft and red cardstock. I like the soft color palette along with that pop of red. I also added foam adhesive behind certain layers for added dimension, such as on the lenses. It definitely makes the lenses pop out and adds to the camera feel. I added the cute little flower from the set onto a few places on the front of the camera, and used a pearl embellishment for the center of the flower.
The best part of this 3D build is making it into an album, which is very easy to do! You cut out a few pieces to add onto the sides, and then some panels that go across on the inside. Then, you can cut multiple inserts to add your photos to, and slide them into the camera. You can also use the title die pieces to add some wording and sentiments to your photo panels.
CHANGE THE COLORS, CHANGE THE LOOK
My first camera had a very feminine feel to it with the soft colors and the added flowers. I wanted to change up the look to show how you can also create albums that have more of a masculine feel. Maybe you want to gift this album to a guy in your life.
I used black cardstock, as well as some metallic silver papers that looks a bit like chrome. I also added some shiny green cardstock behind the camera lenses to make the glare look green. Loving this variation in color! You can also leave off the flowers if you think it doesn’t need it!
NOT JUST ALBUMS, CARDS TOO!
Lastly, I wanted to show that you can make these cameras into cards, as well. Maybe you dont need to create an album or you aren’t excited about a 3D project. I created the front of the camera and added it to an easel card.
I used another color palette for this card. I went for some vintage pinks, browns and greens. Then a pop of yellow with the flower and a bit of twine on the side to embellish. I also used some flat-backed pearls for the glare spots on the lenses. I love how this one turned out! Add a fun sentiment to the front or the inside and you have a cute card to send to a friend.
Thanks for stopping by today, friends! I hope this give you some ideas and inspiration for your own crafting. Definitely give these cameras a try; they are so cute!

I wish the written tutorials were still available for this and the 3D Vignette Retro TV set.
