House Mouse Bouquet for You With Jennifer Rustioni

Hello crafty friends! This is Jennifer Rustioni from @armieritagli! I’m very happy to be here as a guest on the Spellbinders Blog! Today I share with you the card I realized featuring the new super cute Spellbinders House Mouse Collection! These mice are the cutest, aren’t they??

I chose to work with the Bouquet For You Stamp Set to realize an illustrated card.

I stamped the mouse on a piece of the Canson XL Aquarelle Watercolor Paper with the Distress Oxide Pumice Stone to have a delicate effect.

I started coloring the image with the Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors to have a first-colored base. After that, I used colored pencils to give more depth and definition to my work. I blended the colored pencils using a blending stump with an oil medium. Then, I splashed some red and green watercolors to make the work more exciting and realized the highlights with a white gel pen.

I realized a light background blending some Distress Ink in the shades of Tea Dye and Peacock Feathers. At last, I splashed some water drops to create some highlights in the background.
