Classic Pooh Picture Frame Cards
Hello Crafty Friends, Heejung Hunsberger here! I’m thrilled to be returning as a guest designer for Spellbinders this month again! I’m excited to share three cards featuring the Say Cheese Classic Pooh Collection. Winnie the Pooh was one of my son’s favorite characters during his baby years. This collection is perfect for scrapbooking, but I used it to make cards. I have so many adorable photo memories with Pooh and my son, so I included all the cute images in the photo frames on the cards. If you’d like to get to know me better, visit my blog or follow me on Instagram. Additionally, I have a YouTube channel where…

Springtime Colors for the Vivid Expressions Collection
Hello! Jen Kotas here today with three cards featuring the Vivid Expressions Collection. There are four die sets, three BetterPress sets and a 3D Emboss and Cut Folder. Instead of ink blending on white cardstock, I started with Barely Peach Cardstock for card panels, die cutting and embossing, and Bisque BetterPress Card Panels for letterpress. Die cut border of Berry Fields Border Etched Dies from a panel of Barely Peach Cardstock. Blend on a darker orange ink lighter towards top. Add to an A2 card base cut from Barely Peach Cardstock. Die cut pieces from the Vivid Blooms Etched Dies out of Barely Peach Cardstock and blend on various dye…

A Trio of Birthdays
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog today sharing three cards using the Florals Through the Year Collection. This collection is designed to be used to create a DIY calendar but as you will see from my projects, you can use the floral plates on their own for cards (and anything else!) too! SNOWDROPS For my first card, I used the beautiful January Snowdrops. Since snowdrops are winter flowers, I wanted to give a slight winter feel to the card with a little snowfall! To make this card: Place January Snowdrop Press Plate onto the Chase of the BetterPress Letterpress System.…

Shaking It Up using Shaker Domes & Pretty Mixes!
Hello there Spellbinders friends! It’s Lisa Tilson here with you today on the Spellbinders blog. I’m so excited to be here as a guest and I am sharing three shaker cards using the fabulous Shaker Domes. I love to make shakers, so these cards were really fun to create and the Shaker Domes make it very easy to make them. There are five different-shaped domes in this collection; Arch, Stylish Oval, Emerald Cut, Fresh Picked and Hexi-Gem. They work with the coordinating die sets, so everything is super easy to put together! The dome itself is approx. 0.38” high so you have plenty of room to add different-sized shaker mixes…

Pink & Black for Christmas?
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog using the Amaryllis Christmas Collection by Yana Smakula. This beautiful collection features amaryllis, poinsettias and sentiments – all perfect for the holidays. CHRISTMAS CHEER For my first card, I wanted to use Yana’s Amaryllis Etched Dies. This set is great as you have the flower and stem as one die and then separate dies for the leaves and shadow pieces. I like that you can customise it as you wish! To make this card: Cut Yana’s Amaryllis main die once from white cardstock, making sure not to put too much pressure on it, so…

Winter’s Grace Garden Collection by Susan Tierney-Cockburn. In addition to her usual dimensional flowers, there’s also a beautiful 3D embossing folder that’s worthy of its own card. To learn how to assemble these flowers, watch Susan’s videos on Spellbinders YouTube channel. The background embossed with the Norwegian Rosemaling 3D Embossing Folder was cut to 4 x 5 1/4” and adhered to a second panel cut from the largest Perfect Touch Rectangles and Tag Etched Dies. These flowers are the Cymbidium Orchid and Ladybugs Etched Dies cut from Susan’s Garden Specialty Cardstock and colored with alcohol markers. I added a sentiment from All Seasons Spring Press Plate and Die Set. This…
