Beautiful Backgrounds Cards with Joy
Hello crafty friends, I love a good background stamp! I’m going to show you three cards using three different background stamps from the Stampendous Beautiful Backgrounds. I used three different techniques with these awesome stamps. For my first card, I used the Leafy Lines background stamp, it has a pull-away piece that I used for this card design. On a piece of watercolor paper I hot-foiled the background with the Diagonal Glimmer Stripes (discontinued) and Aura foil. I stamped the corners with the Leafy Lines pull-away stamp piece. I colored the leaves with multiple colors using Karin Watercolor Markers. I added a few splatters with the Karin Markers and added…

As Timeless as Black and White!
Hi friends! Emily Midgett here with you today on the Spellbinders blog, and I’m thrilled to have been asked to play with the new Timeless Collection. Spellbinders is now carrying the entire line of Doodlebug’s Rainbow Petite Prints and it was such a difficult choice because I love them all. Linen is always a must-have for me because it’s so subtle and I love that I can easily stamp on it. Gingham is another fun and versatile choice. After choosing the color palette for my cards and making sure that I had both the Doodlebug prints and coordinating solid cardstock, I went to work on my designs. Spellbinders has so…
