Stampendous Spring Card Inspiration With Brenda Noelke

Hello, crafty friends!! Brenda Noelke here from My PaperCut Creations! I’m thrilled to be guest posting on the Spellbinders blog again today! I’m sharing three cards using the Stampendous Spring Collection! This collection includes several products to create quick and colorful cards!

With the Hope of Spring Quick Cards and Joy of Spring Quick Card Backgrounds, all you need to do is trim out one of the images, add it to the background and add one of the included sentiments…easy peasy! But, if you know me, I LOVE to color! So, I’ve implemented the stamps from the collection on my cards today, along with some of the elements from the Quick Cards!

HAVE A HAPPY HAPPY DAY CARD

For my first card, I stamped the florals from the Sweet Song Stamp Set onto opposite corners of a panel of white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored them with Copic markers, trimmed the panel slightly and adhered it to a background from the Joy of Spring Quick Card Backgrounds.

The butterflies from the Hello Butterfly Stamp Set were also stamped onto white cardstock with black ink. I colored them with Copics and fussy cut them out.

The sentiment, from the Hope of Spring Quick Cards Sheets, was trimmed out and adhered to a square die-cut with the second smallest die set in the Essentials Squares Etched Die Set. The square and butterflies were all adhered with foam adhesive. Highlights with white and yellow gel pens add some detail to the butterflies and flowers.

THINKING OF YOU TODAY CARD

I began by stamping the flowers from the Hello Butterfly Stamp Set onto white cardstock with black ink. I stamped one of the butterflies from the same set onto another panel of white cardstock. After coloring them with Copic markers, I fussy cut the butterfly.

The floral panel was die-cut with the second largest die in the Essential Rectangles Dies and adhered to a panel trimmed from one of the Joy of Spring Quick Card Background Sheets.

The sentiment was trimmed from one of the Hope of Spring Quick Cards sheets. It was popped up with foam tape, along with the butterfly. I also added some highlights and details to the images with white and yellow gel pens.

SMALL MIRACLES CARD

I started this card the same way I did my first two, by stamping the flowers from the Hummingbird Day Stamp Set onto white cardstock with black ink. The hummingbirds and sentiment from the same set were stamped onto another panel of white cardstock. Copic markers were used to add color and shading, then the hummingbirds were fussy cut. The floral panel was trimmed slightly and added to an A2 panel trimmed from one of the Joy of Spring Background Sheets.

The sentiment was die-cut with the second smallest die in the Essential Circles Die Set. The sentiment and hummingbirds were both popped up with foam adhesive. As the first two cards, gel pens were used to add in some highlights.

If you’re not into coloring the way I am, the images in the Hope of Spring Quick Cards are already colored for you and make it super simple to create some quick cards!
