Hello crafters! Joan Bardee here. The fantastic Happy Hour Collection consists of 2 cocktail glasses and other unique items to use with or without the glasses. It’s clever and my favorite of everything Spellbinders has released so far this year. Today I’m sharing a brayered background, an explosion of color blocking, and a cheeky Halloween card. Wax Seals Weekend Inspiration!
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog to share a couple of ideas featuring Wax Seals. Mini Slimline Friendship Card I loved the detail in the Scattered Flowers Wax Seal Stamp so decided to try that design first. Here I chose rich colors and gold accents for this pretty mini slimline friendship card. Melt Black Wax Beads and press with the Scattered Flowers Wax Seal Stamp on a silicone mat. Once cool, lightly apply a gold metallic marker over the raised areas of the seal. Die cut white, Onyx, and Mirror Cardstock with the Sealed Gingko Die Set and assemble the sprigs…

Enhance Die Cuts With Ink Blending With Michelle Short
Hello there, Michelle Short here to share three projects with you using the new Photosynthesis Collection. This beautiful collection features lots of florals, which I love! Since it also features mainly die cutting, I wanted to show how you can enhance die cuts by adding ink blending. This really adds interest and dimension to clean and simple cards! My first card uses Floral Stems Etched Dies. I cut the cone flower top petal layer from Snowdrift cardstock and the bottom ones from Purple Mist. I then cut the flower centers from Chamomile and the stems and leaves from Peridot. Using Blending Brushes, I blended on Distress Oxide Inks, focusing the…

Hello there, Michelle Short here to share some inspiration using the Metamorphosis Collection by Simon Hurley. This is a wonderful collection that is perfect for cards, tags, scrapbook/art journals and so much more! I have two cards to share with you today, as well as a tag. HELLO I am using the In Bloom set for my first card, which is such a pretty layering floral die set. I die-cut the flower petals from Glacier, Raindrop, and Cosmic Sky Cardstock. This is such a fun collection that can be used for lots of different occasions – love, get well, thinking of you, encouragement, and lots more! THINKING OF YOU I am using Umbrella Bloom for my first card, which is such a beautiful set! I cut the umbrella from Waterfall and Brushed Silver Cardstock and added a little ink blending to the aqua pieces with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink for added interest.
