Colorful Floral Cards Created with the Bayfair Card Maker’s Kit

Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of pretty floral cards made with the Bayfair Card Maker’s Kit.  The beautiful floral dies, bright patterns, and fun embellishments in the collection inspired me to create three colorful cards perfect for sending a summer hello.

Colorful Smile Card

I loved the bold patterns in the Bayfair 6×6 Paper Pad and thought they would be beautifully paired with some colorful florals and gold accents for this pretty card to make a friend smile.

Trim a piece of the green patterned paper from the Bayfair 6×6 Paper Pad to 4” x 5.25”, mat it with blue cardstock, and adhere it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner.  Cut a strip of white floral patterned paper to 1.5” x 5.25” and adhere on the left side of the card front as shown.  Die-cut white cardstock and blue patterned paper using the Nested Postage Labels Dies, layer, and adhere to the center of the card using foam adhesive.

Die cut Pomegranate, Pink Sand, Mirror Gold, white, and various green cardstocks using the Floral Spray Die Set and assemble with liquid glue.  Arrange in the top left corner of the postage edge frame and adhere down with liquid glue and foam adhesive.  Add sentiments from the Bayfair Puffy Stickers set to finish off the card.

Floral Postal Card

With all of the cute postal references in the collection, I next wanted to create the look of a postcard.  Here I used softer colors to create a pretty bouquet for this sweet postal-inspired card for a friend.

Simple Floral Friend Card

With so many beautiful embellishments, this collection is perfect for quick and easy cards as well.  Here I combined some of the chipboard and puffy sticker elements with some simple die-cuts for a pretty card for a friend.
