Cut & Emboss Folders Inspiration | Even More Everyday Cards With Enza
Hello there, Spellbinders fans! This is Enza, and I’m back with my third and last blog post showcasing the Cut and Emboss Folders. You can find my previous posts here and here. My first card for today features the Diamond Lace Frame Cut and Emboss Folder. The delicate and intricate design of this folder is just beautiful – you don’t need much more than a sentiment to complete your card. Here I decided to step it up a little, and create lots of dimension with a few elements and foam adhesive. I started by embossing two 4”x5.25” panels of the same color. I then fussy cut only the central portion…

Cut & Emboss Folders Inspiration | More Everyday Cards With Enza
Hello, crafty friends! Enza back with you today to share the second of three blog posts featuring the new Cut and Emboss Folders. If you have missed the first post, you can find it here. The folders I’m showcasing today are the following: Blooming Sprigs, Dotted Lace, and Flora Banner. I created cards that are totally different from one another, as my goal was to showcase the versatility of these products through a variety of techniques. For the first card, I used the Blooming Sprigs Cut and Emboss Folder. I have to say I’m not a colorist by all means, but I thought I would give it a try, considering…

Cut & Emboss Folders Inspiration | Everyday Cards With Enza
Hello, crafty friends! Enza Gudor here, and today I’m sharing the first of three blog posts featuring the amazing Cut and Emboss Folders collection. I’m new to the Spellbinders blog, so I thought I would briefly introduce myself. I was born and raised in Italy, but moved to rainy Seattle thirteen years ago to be with the love of my life. I’m the proud mom to three adorable kids, passionate about paper crafting, photography and memory keeping. I started scrapbooking a few years ago, and only recently got passionate about card making. What I love the most is experimenting with new techniques and trends. I find it fun and inspiring.…

Video Friday | Dimensional Shadow Box Scene with Olga
Hello and thank you for joining me! Today I am presenting a project created using three die sets from Elegant 3D Vignettes collection designed by Becca Feeken. These dies are perfect for making shadow boxes, dioramas and 3D cards. One more great thing about them is that they can be mixed and matched to create numerous combinations! My project is a centerpiece shadow box. It is not meant to be mailed in an envelope which gave me freedom to add as much bulk as I desired, so I have used paper flowers outside the box and dimensional draperies inside. The box itself is not folding up this time as well.…

Handmade Collection Inspiration | Hand Stitched Love Card by Jenny Colacicco
Hi everyone! It’s Jenny from JC Cards back again to share with you my final project showcasing the stamps and dies from the Handmade Collection by Stephanie Low. If you missed my previous two posts, you can find them here and here. My project today features the Sew and Creativity stamp and die sets. I really wanted my final project to feature a technique that was inspired by the collection itself, so I couldn’t resist adding some real (albeit very simple!) hand stitching to my card. For the background panel, I stamped the cross-stitch heart from the Creativity set multiple times in clear, sticky embossing ink onto a 4” x…

Handmade Collection Inspiration | Recipe Card Gift Set by Ashlea
Hello again! It’s Ashlea and I’m back today with a fun way to use your niche stamps like the Kitchen Stamp and Die set by Stephanie Low. While an idea for a card using this stamp set may evade you, I’ve got an idea that may be perfect as a gift! When I first looked at this set I knew I wanted to make a recipe card set. I love that it’s a gift and card combo that can be mailed just as a card can, and that it is so personalized. From the handmade design down to the recipes you write on the card, it’s clear when you give…

Handmade Collection Inspiration | Faux Stitched Antique Card by Jenny Colacicco
Hi everyone! It’s Jenny from JC Cards back again to share with you my second project showcasing the stamps and dies from the Handmade Collection by Stephanie Low. If you missed my previous post, you can find it here. My project today features the Yarn and Happiness stamp and die sets. I love some of the cross stitch pieces in the collection – they coordinate perfectly with the knitted images for a faux hand-stitched look, so I’ve combined them together on today’s card. The card was inspired by antique stitched samplers! To create my card, I first stamped my background panel. I used the floral cross-stitch image from the Happiness…

Handmade Collection Inspiration | Baby Boy & Baby Girl Cards by Ashlea
Hello everyone! My name is Ashlea and I am so very excited to be guest designing and blogging for the Spellbinders blog this month. Today is the first post of three that I will be featuring the incredible Handmade collection by Stephanie Low. I’ll be using the Creativity Handmade stamp and die set to create two cards that use the image stamps instead of a written sentiment, yet still make a clear statement. I often stamp sentiments onto my cards to compliment the images, but I love the idea of a card where the image speaks for itself. Here, I accomplished that by using specific colored ink with the stitched…

Handmade Collection Inspiration | Handcrafted Rainbow Quills by Jenny Colacicco
Hi everyone! This is Jenny from JC Cards and I am beyond thrilled to be joining you today on the Spellbinders Paper Arts blog. This guest post is the first in a series of three, showcasing the stamps and dies in the Handmade collection by Stephanie Low. This is a wonderful collection which features images from hobbies and crafts including stitching, cooking, and painting, all in Stephanie’s unique style. My project today features the One of a Kind and Handcrafted stamp and die sets, and was inspired by the artistic imagery of the collection. I’m a huge fan of feathers and the beautiful quill pen in the One of Kind…
