Creating Super Fun Layered Designs and Incorporating Sparkle Into Your Cards
Hello there crafters! Lisa Tilson is here with you today on the Spellbinders blog and as always, I am excited to be here! Today we are going to be taking a look at the super fun Tunnel Scapes Collection designed by Vicky Papaioannou. I have absolutely loved working with this fun, playful collection. I think the modern, quirky vibe of the three tunnel scape sets is so unique and the opportunities to play with color and design are endless. The collection consists of three sets of etched dies which allow you to create these flowing layered tunnels. You then have a plethora of different options to add to the tunnels,…

Die Cutting Dioramas With Tunnel Scapes
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog using the Tunnel Scapes collection. This is such a fun collection that focuses on creating scenes with dimension, kind of like mini dioramas but more on the 2D side, rather than the 3D side. These cards can get pretty dimensional if adding foam tape in between all the tunnel layers, but they would still look great without the foam tape, or with less layers if you didn’t want them to be so bulky. Mixing and Layering Wax Beads to Level Up Your Seals
Hey there! Daniel West, here, with some great tips on mixing and layering wax beads to take your seals to the next level. If we graded this tutorial for difficulty, I would say it ranks a 5 out of 10. I prefer this method of layering seals to coloring them with a marker because it makes for a very sharp and clear seal impression with contrast. It also is permanent and won’t wipe off with your finger. Later in January, I will have a YouTube tutorial on my channel. Instructions for layering waxes on seals: Warm your seal a bit over the flame of your votive candle or just let…
