I truly believe that there is beauty in simplicity, and this card perfectly exemplifies that notion. By using the stunning new Poinsettia Bells and Border 3D embossing folder and matching die, as well as a simple ombre ink blending technique with Distress Oxides in the elegant shades of Lumberjack Plaid and Tattered Rose, this card captures the very essence of simplicity. To add a touch of glamour, a quick spritz of gold shimmer spray does wonders. Complete your masterpiece with a heartfelt holiday sentiment of your choice.

I find die-cutting to be an incredibly soothing activity. It allows my mind to wander and provides a sense of relaxation. So, I thoroughly enjoyed die-cutting the pieces to assemble the new All Occasion Bow recently released by Spellbinders, which is the highlight of this project. To add some dimension, I decided to use the Loops Embossing Folder on my card base, creating a cohesive look that ties everything together flawlessly. I’m absolutely thrilled with the unconventional color choices paired with the ombre ink blending on the bow. The addition of gold accents takes it to another level of beauty and elegance. I just love it! The gold accents on the embossing and die-cut pieces is super simple with a Gelly Roll pen and it’s another element that helps create a cohesive look. I love the addition of the floral die-cut pieces from the Petite Blooms and Sentiments.

I have created two cards using Spellbinders Merry Christmas to You Letterpress Plate. For both cards, I used ombre ink blending technique. On one of the cards, I applied the letterpress inks, Strawberry, and Apricot, directly to the plate, while on the other card, I used Distress Oxide Lumberjack Plaid and Tattered Rose Inks for ink blending. It’s worth mentioning that when using foil, I apply the foil before ink blending.

All the cards featured here today can be easily put together using Bearly Art Glue and Spellbinders Foam Adhesives.
