Three Interactive Cards With Rocky The Dancin’ Yeti
Hello! Jen Kotas is here today with three cards featuring the Rocky The Dancin’ Yeti Etched Die Set. This die set is absolutely adorable and comes with a variety of accessories. Each card I’ve created features a different interactive technique. No need to be intimidated by interactive cards! These three cards are simple to assemble. It’s what you add to the rest of the card where you can make it your own. Snowy Fun Cards Featuring the Let It Snow Collection
Hello, crafty friends! This is Emily Leiphart and I’m thrilled to be back on the Spellbinders blog, featuring the Let It Snow Collection by Simon Hurley. As soon as I saw those adorable penguins and pretty snowflakes, I couldn’t wait to create with these products. I went back to a favorite color palette of mine for these cards and I based it around the penguins but I also really love the contrast of the colors on the other two cards showcasing all the snowflakes. Can you guess which card I made first? Of course, it was the penguin card! I wouldn’t wait to dress up those penguins and I actually ended…

Perfect BetterPress Sentiments for Every Season
Hello, it’s Jean Manis here and I am excited to share three cards created with products in the Spellbinders All Seasons Scrapbooking Collection. I have used three of the collection’s BetterPress sets and one of the die sets, along with other Spellbinders die sets, to create a fall, a Christmas, and an Easter card. On the fall card, seasonal flowers are paired with a BetterPress sentiment that says “These golden days,” evoking the warmth and beauty of autumn. Cover an A-2 size card base with a…

Hello everyone! I’m Mindy Eggen from Mindy Eggen Design and I’m excited to be back on the Spellbinders blog to share with you three different ways to use cosmic shimmer in your card projects. Before I begin, if you haven’t worked with Cosmic Shimmer Polish before it is kind of like a creamy paste that has tons of shimmer and shine. The top of the lid contains a flat sponge applicator and the jar contains the polish. TECHNIQUE 1: Backgrounds One of the easiest ways to use the polish is to apply it directly to your cardstock. You can use colored cardstock or white for this technique. One thing to…

Simple and Sweet Love Cards with the House Mouse Winter Collection
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of sweet love cards made with the new House Mouse Winter Collection. With such detailed and adorable images in this collection, you can keep the other elements of your card pretty simple and still create eye-catching projects! I started by stamping the image and one of the sentiments from the Snuggle Up Stamp Set onto white cardstock using black alcohol-friendly ink. After coloring the image with Copic markers, I fussy-cut it out with scissors and trimmed the sentiment out into a strip. To create the background, I trimmed a piece…
