Layered Stenciled Cards with a Folk Art Flair with Joan Bardee
Welcome! Joan Bardee here sharing cards made with the fun new Spellbinders Layered Stencils Collection. There are 4 sets in the collection: Hello, For You, Thank You, and Make a Wish. Each set comes with layering stencils and a mask for the sentiment. There are coordinating dies. These stencils do most of the design work for you – the sentiment knows where to go, and the floral designs form a beautiful bouquet around 3 of the sentiments. Change colors and you will get a totally different look. And, as you’ll see, there is room for even more creativity. For these cards, I was inspired by Pennsylvania Dutch designs – a…

Metamorphosis: Rainbow Colored Fun
Hello and welcome! I’m Joan Bardee and today I’m featuring 3 cards using the gorgeous Metamorphosis Collection designed by Simon Hurley. (How does Simon create so many amazing products, videos, and samples??) This collection consists of 4 sets of dies: In Bloom, Stained Glass Window, Everyday Sentiments, and Brilliant Butterflies. I was particularly smitten with the arch shape in Stained Glass Window and the collection put me in the mood for rainbow colors, so get ready for rainbows. The Stained Glass Window base die is perfect to make an arched-shaped card, so I did. Die cut a fantasy rainbow-colored bouquet (with gold accents) using the In Bloom dies. Love how…

I wasn’t familiar with anemones and a quick online search revealed that they come in a huge variety of colors. So, use whatever colors you love; for me – pink is my first love. Hot Foiled Anemone Blooms If you are looking for maximum impact with minimal effort, just hot foil the Anemone Glimmer Blooms…

Inspired by the Sentiments in the Showered with Love Collection by Joan Bardee
Hello and welcome! I’m Joan Bardee and if you want to see what else I’m up to, you can find me on Instagram as Dear Paperlicious. Today I’m featuring 3 fun and colorful cards using products in the Showered with Love Collection designed by the super-talented Vicky Papaioannou. The design of each card was inspired by the sentiments in the I’ve Got You Covered Clear Stamp and Die set, which is part of this collection. The collection is full of clever open and closed umbrellas, weather symbols, flowers, a duck, etc. – all evoking spring. I took my cue from that season and used softer sherbet colors for each of…

Postage Edge Shapes Collection – Card Inspiration with Annie Williams
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m thrilled to be back on the blog today to share a couple of projects using the new Postage Edge Shapes Collection by Becca Feeken. These beautiful new border patterns in every shape I could want inspired me to create three soft and pretty cards for different occasions. Winter Wishes Card With the holiday card season approaching, I wanted to start by creating a fun postage stamp-inspired project. Here I combined an icy color palette and simple white die-cuts for this sweet winter card. Die cut white cardstock four times using the smallest postage edge die from the Postage Edge Squares Die Set.…
